in Want to know what happens when we sing FOX’s praises? on FOX Attacks!
Fox News does not broadcast news. They are more like The View just sitting around spewing their own opinions. How is that news? It's INSANE and ridiculous.

in Update: How is the site looking? on Consequence of Sound
Hey, I really like the new look, but I was wondering how to get to old posts. I couldn't easily find an archive button of previous post button. I may be over looking it, but if there isn't one I suggest putting one in. I can't check the site every day, but still like to read all the posts.

in Julian Bond Sells Out Democratic Process…for what, exactly? on Jack and Jill Politics
MSNBC is reporting on this letter too. Seems like it may have really come from him.
Regardless, for everyone discussing allowing them to hold future contests, what is the basis? The DNC didn't strip them of their delagates because they wantes to disenfranchise them. The states made a decision. I personally feel they should have to live with that. Those 4 states were chosen for a reason to be first. Finally, its actually not fair to the the other candidates (not just Barack or Hillary). The timing of theses primaries and caucuses is factored into campaign strategy. To change it this late in the race is unfair and wrong.

I really like Goldfrapp - A&E, Vampire Weekend - Mansard Roof, and a mash-up of Battles (Atlas) and M.I.A. (Boyz) by Diplo.

Be thankful so many people have so little and would be happy to have any table to gather around. I find this posting seriously out of touch.. Our soldiers in Iraq would be grateful for any of those things. Be thankful for your family and humanity as a whole..not where they sit or what they wear...look deeper..it's not about the clothes...
I guarantee there is much more there..
Happy Thanksgiving.

in Nelly seems to suggest otherwise… — Elliott C. Back on Elliott Back's Blog
I didn't entitle this post "Nelly hates women" - you did.
I would entitle this post "Nelly seems to suggest otherwise..."
Nelly's lyrics (in his song "Hot in here") talk about why someone who has reached celebrity status shouldn't use it for their advantage sexually ("Why would anyone who is a celebrity not take advantage of his stature and not have sexual relations with super models?")
But the more well known an individual is in society, the more they should be of genuine service to others rather than using their celebrity status to exploit others.
Nelly hot in here
I think it's wonderful that he's started some charities (including one for his cancer-afflicted sister and one for underprivileged kids from the neighborhood but the introduction of his energy drink "Pimp Juice" glorifies the role of pimps rather than defining pimps for what they are: one who derives income from the earnings of a prostitute - so someone who reaps financial gain from planning the sexualy exploitation of others.
Men's roles should be one in which they guard and protect the women in their lives - not one in which they deliberately coerce women into repeated dangerous activities with no regard for the women's health & lives. Pimps just value women for as long as they can benefit financially from them. When pimps cannot derive enough money from their prostitutes, or if their prostitutes are sick, they're not interested in them anymore. That shows how pimps don't really care about anyone but themselves.
That's not the lifestyle celebrities should try to glorify by naming a energy drink after.

Barbara,
