They as-good-as pushed the pamplet out to the entire world.

And as for the philosophy - if you put war and hunger and education and health and jobs and global climate change and immigration and all the other issues facing our next president as secondary - then you're hurting us all.

Throw this terrible thing away and find out for yourself who would be the best person to bring our country out of our current decline.

Re: Nashuatelegraph.com: Something to talk about

The Union Leader had a very positive article based on this same event. Nowhere did they even imply "Many left the event in disgust." In fact there were standing ovations- both for the entertainment AND for Edwards.

I went for the music, I found the guy who should be our next president.

Re: Nashuatelegraph.com: Reader defends Hodes on earmark support

Mr Brown was off by a little huh? - 9 hundred thousand vs. 9 million. A math problem maybe? It appears all the $$ he earmarked was for NH, and for good causes. Sounds like Mr. Hodes is doing good work, I think we should keep him.

Re: Nashuatelegraph.com: No lack of outrage over al-Qaida tactic

As it turns out, of course, the women were *NOT* mentally handicapped; our military has now retracted that claim.

See:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationwor...

Re: Polar bears are neither endangered, threatened

You mention that you've read 2 whole books on the subject. Perhaps you can come back and give us another book report after you've read a few books that support the theory of global warming?

Honestly! Like the Billion$BridgeToNowhere, remember that little gem?

It's not arbitrary time-tables that we need to set - it's our attention to what they're doing - You can't just vote for a person because he's a member of your party or you feel you could have a beer with him, you need to really know what they're doing. I propose a scorecard for each serving politician - all that they voted for and against, all they accepted in bribes from lobbyists, all they invest in companies they get deals for. Why throw out all of them when it's just a few bad apples?

Re: Biden selection as VP sours Obama backer

Wait, let me get this straight.
You would have voted Dem if someone who voted against this had been chosen? But instead you're going to vote GOP... because.... you like...... what?
The VP - except for shoot-em-up Cheney ,who most likely ran the whole shebang for the last 7+years - is the person they send out to state funerals. Obama isn't on death's door, and isn't in his declining years... I can understand why you dislike the legislation, but my goodness! Isn't this one thing like a needle in a haystack?

I am sorry if this has affected you personally - divorce is difficult - but when there are kids involved it's painful, and when the other party is cruel - it just plain sucks.

Re: McCain-Palin to flush big-spending GOP ways

Oh, and look at HOW she spent as mayor- this is from a citizen of Wasilla as reported by NPR.

"She inherited a city with zero debt, but left it with indebtedness of over $22 million. Perhaps he was - then - but he sure isn't now. It really looks like he's sold his soul to become president, and it's so darned sad to watch. If he were to become the leader of the free world - who who he owe - and what would be the cost to us as Americans?

The question we all should ask Mr. McCain is "If you're the right choice for president, why do you have to lie?"

Re: McCain-Palin to flush big-spending GOP ways

Oh, and look at HOW she spent as mayor- this is from a citizen of Wasilla as reported by NPR.

"She inherited a city with zero debt, but left it with indebtedness of over $22 million. Being selective will be the difficult part for you tho' - some of the stuff in the forums can be just folks parroting the talking heads, some of it is just mean-spirited without cause, but some of it is brilliant. I vote yes, and best of luck in bringing our voices to print.
