in What international calling service do you use? on Mobile Industry Review
Hi Ewan,
Thanks for considering JAJAH, same here, it's not in our country dropdown yet but I just sent an email to the guy who takes care of our international carrier relations/termination partners, maybe we can add the Maldives to our service in time :-)
Do you have a MAXroam SIM from our buddy Pat yet? Maldives roaming is possible but actually not that cheap, €0.71 for an incoming call, €0.83 outgoing for a UK landline for instance.
I'll get back to you as soon as I hear back from Gabby,
Cheers, Frederik

in The iPhone Still Rules on Oracle AppsLab
Jake,
thanks for the mention, it is highly appreciated!
And yes, Jajah allows you to make VoIP calls with your iPhone or iPod touch without installing any software or the need of jailbreaking it. Simply point your iPhone's or iPod touch's browser to http://iphone.jajah.com and place ultra low cost international VoIP calls. Wi-fi is not necessary, an EDGE connection is totally fine.
How it worlks: http://blog.jajah.com/index.php?/archives/251-J...
Regards to you and all your readers, get back to me anytime if you have any questions or feedback,
Frederik

in 2007/09/27/jajah-buttons/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
Thank you Adam, highly appreciated!
This is the first "personal, truly global toll-free click-to-call service" (available in more than 120 countries). JAJAH Buttons realize free and seamless voice communication in online communities and email. One-click calling out of e-mails, websites, blogs or social network profiles.
Distant friends and family can now call you without any restrictions, obstacles or cost considerations. You simply add your button to your email signature, send them the email, they click on it and call you.
From a business perspective a JAJAH Button is the quickest, cheapest way to a very own toll-free number. Every SME can now afford to let their customers call them – from one or many countries, or from all over the world.
Thank you and cheers,
Frederik

Thanks for the mention Daksh! Highly appreciated.
It's getting kind of crowded here :-)
Try out http://www.jajah.com - it's really simple and you can try it out right away without registration.
Jajah is free and low-cost global calling with your regular phone. There is no headset, no download, no software and no broadband connection needed. You are using your existing phone (landline or mobile) and so is the person you are calling. You can call your friends for free, no matter if they are online or not.
You simply type in your number and the number you want to call at http://www.jajah.com and Jajah will connect your call between two regular phones (landline or mobile) anywhere in the world.
You can use Jajah from your mobile phone/iPhone via http://mobile.jajah.com or via one of our mobile plugins from http://www.jajah.com/info/tools/
You can make conference calls (no password, no dial-in) and schedule your call to any time and date, so you can't miss your calls anymore, your phone will ring, you pick up and you will be connected to the designated number.
Cheers, Frederik

in Can’t understand Jajah’s promotion for Canadians on LucaFiligheddu.com
Ciao Luca,
this is my Saturday evening man ;-)
Nothing really missing, Alec Saunders told us that even national long-distance calls are ridiculously expensive in Canada, not to mention international calls and that Jajah offers great rates and even a certain amount of free global calling to Canadians. Simply that it makes a lot of sense to use Jajah.
That in mind we added the Canadian dollar as a currency to our system that it becomes even easier and more convenient to use Jajah.
The free call policy has always been a part of Jajah, you can find it in our help section (can't paste the link, the iPhone doesn't have copy&paste). The amount of free minutes can differ slightly from country to country (because of fraud reasons), but for Canada and most other countries we provide this amount of free global calling.
Have a great rest of the weekend and regards,
Frederik

in Jajah Troubles on Adrian Smith's Blog
Adrian,
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience that you experienced in using our service. I use it everyday and it works absolutely fine, immediate callback and excellent sound quality. But a worldwide technical infrastructure is based on other partner networks as well and there may occur problems in certain areas where we are not aware of and we gotta fix that and I will immediately report the problem. I will get back to you by email to gather some more information from where to where you were calling to fix this problem, if this is ok with you.
Thanks for the feedback and have a great weekend,
Frederik

all adds up for a 60 minute call though!
