Forest Green Rovers v Derby, it would be nice to see them on TV and actually win for once.

in Time To Stop Underestimating Hull City on EPL Talk
Craig Fagan is hardly a "highly rated" player. He will run through a wall for your club but he can't score, gets booked for stupid stuff and is a squad player at best. He didn't do much at Derby and I don't think when he comes back he will make all that much of an impact for Hull.

PaulieB Hmm, I seen a fair bit of Fagan and think the lad has a good future ahead of him. Playing at higher level can only improve him as a player and his injury was unfortunate. He was certainly being tracked by several Premiership clubs last year.
Brown obviously thought a lot about him from their brief time working together but we'll have to see how he recovers and comes back.
tom Are you a Derby Fan? He wasn't too great at Pride Park.

Back end of last and definetley beginnging of this season, he has showed some fantastic signs of fulfilling his undoubted potential.

This kid has all the hallmarks of a rough diamond.

It really does seem like Phil Brown has taken this kid and shook him up a bit. He's a daft kid with alot to learn but it looks like he could be on the right track.

Its a shame the injury came when it did as he looked the sharpest and eager city player on the park....and I just hope that he can fit back in where he left.

With a bit of grit and determination, I can't see a problem with this. It's a fantastic thing for Hull City, that he's back in training.

Ask him why the American version always comes out later then that in Europe? Its very annoying to have to wait longer for no apparent reason.

I am only impartial with Derbys fixtures when we play Florist or Leeds. I mean did you expect me to say anything other then a Derby win. ;)

in Liverpool Rescue Draw Against Atletico Madrid After Phantom Penalty on EPL Talk
Yet another phantom penalty won by the diving Gerrard. He does this yet everone jumps on Drogba's back (rightfully so). Gerrard is just a bad diver as Drogba is and should be ashamed for that shameful dive but I'm sure he isnt.

We got robbed by a totally inept ref plain and simple.

in The Championship starting to shape up on Championship Talk
I wouldn't say that the parachute payments make a massive difference. Derby only have 1.5 million of there payment left after paying off loans taken to buy players last season in the EPL. Most of this years team is free transfers or transfers less them 2M. I think the parachute payments are over-rated.

in Arsenal Eyes American Midfielder Charles Renken on EPL Talk
If he goes anywhere outside the US, he should go to Holland where they know how to develop young players in all aspects of the game. England is the last place he should go, his talent will be wasted there. Keep him here till he is 16 and then send him to Holland to hone his skills there and he will do just fine.

in What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day? on EPL Talk
Wow Liverpoool supporters getting touchy about thier own fans (most likely) stealing from thier players, who would have thought it. Just fyi I'm a Derby supporter not a Manchester United supporter.

It's just vermin fans way of saying how much they love a player. Either that or for new players its a way of saying welcome to liverpool by thier oh so wonderful fans.

This should make the England fans happy for a while, however they might not want to get to over confident, its a long campaign to qualify and anything can happen.

Don't really care about the CS, Pompy always give United fits but either way it means nothing for United. I would like to see Pompey win it instead of United. Its always nice to see any team who isnt United, Arseanl, Liverpool or Chelski win a trophy.

in Liverpool Does the Right Thing: German Clubs Do Not on EPL Talk
How does it reflect badly on McBride, he is playing for his country? I didnt know that reflected badly on a person. If you want to keep overage players out then change the rules to make it only u-23.

I dont see how these clubs are going to get away with not releasing these players when they are under 23 and it was made clear that all u-23s had to be released. I hope all the clubs that are pulling this crap have to release thier players and face sanctions for this.

in West Brom Makes History With Sponsorless Football Shirts on EPL Talk
FC United in the Unibond Premier also have no sponser on the front of the shirt and that is on purpose. I would applaude West Brom if they stayed with out a sponser for the remainder of the season, it would make more of a statement then getting one.

in Wigan Unveils New Away Shirt For 2008/2009 Season on EPL Talk
That shade of flourencent yellow looks good on no one. My female fashion sense is offended by it, altho Peter Cechs GK kit offends more but not by much. That is a horrible color for anyone to wear.
