You are absolutely correct in what you say. The headline nails it right away. If these stations die or, are choked by fees then piracy will sky rocket. These companies are making it legal to discover and listen to music of all kinds. Yet, it seems they're being punished for it. I've been saying for awhile that new laws need to be in effect for internet distributed media. The Washington Post article explaining what Pandora pays in fees is a perfect example of why.

Re: rizzn's personal blog

That whole schpiel was stupid in my opinion. Profy is a well-known website and, everyone left at once. that is news! Period. No questions about that. Awhile ago, three friends of mine and I worked at a company. All four of us left the same day...the community that surrounded the company *demanded* to know what was going on and what happened. Any way you put it when high profile people leave a place at once...it is news and, the community surrounding it wants to know why. The outcry about that and, how people reacted was complete bs if you ask me. You said your piece, your post was done well. You promoted each person leaving and, never insulted anyone. The way people reacted sounded like butt hurt drama to me.

Re: Jumping Off A Cliff Like Your Friends

I use Twitter for mobile updates but, that's about it. For regular status updates I use identi.ca fine. I've found FriendFeed to be awesome for two things. #1. Traffic . #2. Networking . I have been able to meet and talk to some of the coolest people that share my interests. It's a cliff with a nice, cushy landing believe me. :)
