in how to make money without a job and why you should on brip blap
I agree that earning alternative income sounds absolutely fabulous! Spend less than you earn, however, is a great fallback plan for those of us who haven't yet (I remain hopeful, thus the "yet") found a great plan for alternative income.

I read lots of blogs which talk about how great alternative income is, and I think, "Well of course it is! Everyone knows that!" The posts that are most useful, however, are those which help other people learn HOW to produce alternative income.

in Guest Post: Education - a curse or a cushion? on brip blap
Here's a question I haven't seen addressed in any of the "entrepenurialism rocks!" posts floating around the pfblogging community: What about all the people out there who have no good ideas? I mean, I know that sounds lke a stupid, crazy question, but I'm serous. I'm talking about people who work hard and are reasonably competent, but just don't have a knack for spotting opportunities. Any advice for that crowd?

I totally feel ya, brip blap. I LOVED being an English major. I was at the top of my class and had a rep for being the best in the department, and the university paid for both of my degrees, plus a little extra just so I'd go there.

BUT.

If I'd known what I know now, I might have chosen to be an average student in the business or finance department, rather than a top student in the English department.

BE WARNED, YE COLLEGE-AGED READERS! You're going to college for the money. Save "following your heart" for marriage.

Good post, but you need one for those of us who ALREADY majored in English, History, or Poli Sci. (which I now tell all of my students not to do).
