One that never needs cleaning!

Growing up, it probably was watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on tv. Now we go out to eat at a fancy golf/country club because no one has the space, time or money to host the dinner.

I like to be showered with gifts of jewelry or gift cards to bookstores!

It's a toss up between my toaster oven and my stand mixer (my christams gift to myself last year).

Any gift of books or giftcards to a bookstore.

Get a tattoo, and maybe veneers on my teeth.

Overall,I'm not panicking and I wish the media and the President would quit trying to incite panic in people by constantly talking about the "dire" situation. The last time the market took a dump the front page of our paper made sure to include the word 'panic' in it's headline. That doesn't help things - it only makes it worse.
As for the mortgage crisis, I feel like the rest of us are getting screwed because banks were stupid in lending money to people who are bad credit risks and homeowners were stupid in taking out a loan that they couldn't afford to buy more house than they needed. Those of us who are smart and responsible have to pay for others' stupidity. If you make bad choices you should have to deal with the consequences. Are we teaching our children that someone will always be there to bail them out and that they won't have to face the consequences of their actions?

If I didn't watch tv, I'd read, sew and do needlework.

1. Winter boots - mine gave out last year and we're supposed to get more snow this year than last year.
2. Bigger pants - nuf said.

I guess it would have to be Tonic Sol-Fa (an acapella group). I'm kind of morally opposed to paying alot of money for lousy seats to watch a band lip-synch. I'd rather buy the "live conert" version CDs or DVDs. But Tonic Sol-Fa is a relatively local group, and I think it takes greater talent to sing acapella than with a band backing a person up with music.

My height. I come from a family of tall people, and I'm proud of it.

The Anne Cottage on Mackinac Island, MI. It's for sale, furnished, for roughly $3 million. Of course I'd like to be in a financial position where I could afford to spend the whole summer there enjoying the place........

I have regrets that, if I had them to do over again I'd say 'Yes' rather than 'No', but I wouldn't consider them mistakes.

A tuxedo can make most men look sexy, but I think a white t-shirt and jeans on a guy is even sexier! And some musical talent.

I love that you spent part of your inheritance on a beautiful piece of jewelry that will remind you of your grandfather!

I'd pay off my car loan ($6500), try to save some of it ($2500) and allow myself to spend $1000 of it on whatever I want! That's where the really tough thinking comes in - prioritzing that $1000 shopping list!

The Chicago Olympics in 2016 (if they get it)! It'll practically be in my backyard and it'll probably be the only opportunity I'll ever get to go to the Olympics.

When I come home from work. I need about and hour to an hour and a half by myself to decompress and clear out the noise in my head before I can be social again.

Does unlimited money come with this totally free day?

1. I would go for a walk if the weather permits. I'm trying to walk alot more - to the library, grocery store, walmart, and any other errands around town to save on gas.
2. I would read - whether thats in my apartment, at the library or at a bookstore.
3. I'd probably watch alot more tv and dvds.
4. I'd like to think I'd cook and bake many wonderful things to eat yet not gain any weight (losing weight would be even better!).

I'd love to 'Say no to plastic bottled water', but I drink Water Joe, a caffinated water, and Klarbrun Lime sparkling water. I'm giving up my addiction to Pepsi for health reasons, I can't stand the smell of coffee to get close enough to drink it and I don't like teas. Mixing Water Joe and Klarbrune gives me the essence of soda and my much needed caffine even though it still bottled water.

Walking to places like the library, grocery store and Walmart instead of driving....and bringing my own canvas bags

A tiny apartment and alot of stuff! As much as I like to be organized, and the minimalist approach, the clutter doesn't stay controlled for very long!
