I've also been a fan of PostRank (for making sense of your RSS feeds) and wanted to integrate the two on my blog. I made a post about it in the Get Satisfaction Account for PostRank:

@Medical The value prop with Lijit is that when you sign up for it, you can enter in your various social networks, any RSS feed AND OPML files (collections of RSS feeds usually exported from a reader) that then becomes a personal federated search, hosted on your own blog. A user can essentially search your whole social network AND web presence from one interface, on your blog. I'm definitely a fan and use it on my blog.

This post provides some nice actionable steps I've had around the idea of building your personal network. I've already shared this post with a few folks and am working on building up my network too!

I've sometimes thought that one's network is like a whole operating system for accomplishing the things you want to do in life - except it's wonderfully powered by people, kind of like a hive mind, but without the creepy overtones.
