That's exactly what I need at home since my LCD is not even plugged to any cable provider... Streaming and DVD only!
Can I get an invite Fred?

Re: Velib Is Awesome

Hey Fred,
I'm French, I live in New York, and I know quite a bit about the business story behind Velib... They are manufactured by JC Decaux (ClearChannel's biggest competitor), and I can even give an insider scoop, they are negociating with Mayor Bloomberg himself, who loved the concept...
BTW, do you know their business model? Advertising! Right, they don't even sell the velibs, they invested 20M Euros for Paris, hoping for some huge ad deals, crazy, but smart!
Enjoy Paris

Re: Can You Build An Enterprise Only Web App?

Fred, couldn't agree more on Entreprise 2.0, since we're exactly working on this with Producteev.com, the Wired blog even mentioned us while announcing Yammer's grand prize (we actually do Collaborative Task Management for teams, and implemented a twitter like communication system for events within the team...)
http://blog.wired.com/business/2008/09/yammer-t...

Re: Talking Stocks

I LOVE this idea, but what about the legal implications in the long term of such a service? I kind of like more the Zlio.com concept... It's been on the market for a few months in the US (a year and a half in Europe), and they're doing really good... They allow anyone to create its online store in a few clicks, and sell products from their pool of partners (apple, buy, barnes&noble...): 40.000 shops open in 4 months in the US, 200.000 worldwide (I got those numbers from their blog). Those guys get it.

Re: 2007/11/29/open-web-awards-social-shopping/

NOMINATE: http://www.zlio.com

Great innovator in the social shopping space!

Re: 2008/01/11/open-web-awards-recap/

I do not manage to view the Ustream video, how come?
