So, besides the racial angle of attacking Barack, McCain is also appealing to their plans to be wealthy and the possibility that they might have to give some of their "hard-earned money" to people who don't deserve it. Thank you all for posting this. Previously I had no problem with Biden, but now homie is unacceptable. That last comment about the schools was the most telling. "Look what you're starting off with" tells me something about how he views black people. And that slave state joke just made things even more clear.

YOu need to explore that idea about Obama's marriage to Michelle being a sign of failure for his white grandparents. That is an interesting concept. I've found that people love to bring up his white grandparents when they want to complain about Obama being called "black" but other then that, the grandparents are ignored.

Anyway, I would love to here you flesh out that idea about the grandparents as soon as possible. I would do it myself, but since I never though of the issue in those terms until I read it here, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

I'm tired of this new meme that young black people don't view the world or politics through the eyes of the civil rights struggle. Which young people are they talking too? Not the ones who come to this site or mine. I still see view the world as a black man first and frankly I'm suspicious of anyone who doesn't.

Great post. Here's what I told somebody the other day. If you commit racist acts, how can you argue that you're not a racists? What is a racist, but somebody who practices racism and racist acts?

I"m glad folks pointed out all the times Obama did make jokes. I should have mentioned that in my blog. Like so many of y'all have said, Obama can be funny but it's not that Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy in Norbit funny. He's not going to be grinning and skinning. He's a Harvard-educated lawyer running for president. He's not going to be making fart jokes in public.

A lot of you like point 3 in my blog but I really thought point 2 was the most important. Comedians are whining that Obama and his cult members won't let them joke about him, but the reality is that Obama supporters will not let them make racist, demeaning jokes about him. We will not allow him to be dehumanized for profit. It's happened too many times to far too many black folks in power and we are sick of it.

I'm glad we're taking that stand.

It's amazing how much more comfortable white people are with black people who smile a lot. If they don't see teeth, something must be wrong with us.

Sorry my use of the word nigger bothered so many folks.

But, I use that world regularly in my personal life and on my blog. I try to moderate my usage around folks who aren't comfortable with it, but I'm not attending the word's funeral..

However, I don't believe there is such a thing as "nigger behavior." That's shows an amazing amount of self-hate. Trifling behavior has no skin color and calling something "nigger behavior" or saying someone is behaving like a "nigger" is just buying into the white man's game.

The way I see it, all black people are niggers and all niggers are black people. The word nigger was just a slur that white folks created to show their distaste for us.
