That EXACTLY describes me.  I was the "we need to get more serious about product management" appointee, without really having a mentor or someone in the company who has been a devoted Prod Mgr.  And the more I get into it, the more I realize I don't know.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It's also refreshing to see you comment on that which is important NOW.  I struggle with how much time to spend on strategy vs. tactical.  I seem to get bogged down in tasks which are pretty now-centric, at the expense of not doing some of the 6-18 month stuff.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Jeff Wright</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 29 Oct 2008 18:55:40 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
