I never would have thought of the photos and wordless posts. I love the interview idea. I just started doing that. Anything you can do in 10 minutes or less is sweeet.
:-)
I appreciate you.
Dali

Re: How to Not Pay Attention on Twitter (and Make Embarrassing Blunders)

Hey Michael,
Thanks for being so open and honest and sharing your experience with us. All of these points seem equally important.

I definitely agree in the getting personal section. I love when bloggers let their personality shine (as long as they stick to positive news). :-)

It takes a dedicated person to blog successfully.

I appreciate you, Franklin, and I look forward to keeping up with your content.

Dali Burgado

Re: Why Can’t I Be You? For most people it can be easy to compare apples to oranges when they have not clearly defined "success" or have defined their own blog goals. Success is not a one size fits all destination. Most people lose sight of that fact.

Looking forward to seeing more posts. :-)
Dali Burgado

Re: SEO Attitudes

Michael,

Blog Marketer - that's me :-)

And I'm not only a Blog Marketer....I am also a client lol.

It's a balance act, I believe. Write great content, but you can't neglect the importance of SEO. I have a business partner I met on the first page of Google, and she get's rewarded lovely for it.

Toma, you bring up some great points too. I personally am working on my SEO skills and am big on social networking (Twitter, Facebook especially) for traffic.

I can also relate to "writing for Google". It's not fun at all and awkward. Balance is key.

Good stuff, Michael. The blogger has already established rapport with his/her blog readers via blog posts making the cornerstone product an effective form of monetization on a blog.

I'm looking forward to checking yours out soon! Just stumbled across it recently. These plugins rock. Have to get insights. Awesome that it returns posts from your own blog to automatically help with on page SEO. Sweeet. :-)

One of the plugins I find most valuable for creating content is Psychic Search. It will tell you the exact keywords your readers type in your search bar - great way to give your readers exactly what they want to read. It also gives you top searches in Google.

I also love Add Sig, which adds a custom signature to the bottom of posts with the author’s information (so new readers know a bit more about you before checking your about tab).

Comment Luv - Shows a show a link to the last post from the commenters blog in their comment.

Woopra for anayltics rocks. Tons of real time live stats.

There's so many great ones out there. Thanks for sharing yours. Definitely going to check the ones I don't have out.

I appreciate you.
Dali Burgado

Re: Six Simple Steps To Escape From Social Media

Hey Luca,
Excellent social media rehab tips! ha ha. Hmm maybe including a bonus here would be nice!

Intense Debate - Allows you to get comments by email so that you can instantly respond.
