Who lost the Vietnam war? The Vietnamese people did after we killed millions of them and bombed them back to the stone age. I'm sick of you white reactionary young men. You need to spend a year working in Harlem at a summer camp.

-UGH!

Re: WUSA to adopt one-person multimedia journalist model for newsgathering

This article is poorly written and biased.

First of all, there is much more substantial criticism coming from reporters and anchors than worries over "diminished status". How insulting. The true worry is over the dramatically diminished quality of reports coming from one-man-bands. Anyone who turns on KRON in San Francisco can clearly see that.

Secondly, does anyone really believe this tired management spin that one-man-bands put more "feet on the street"? How lazy is the person who wrote this article not to even check the facts of this claim? I seriously doubt KRON has any more reporters now. Indeed, I believe it has a smaller number of reporters. "Fewer reporters with less experience doing more" is the real headlines here.

Re: lets be human together - i hate south carolina

Omg those are adorable!!!

Re: Unfollow Friday

O.P. You are aware of the fact that you can just unfollow these '16 year olds'. When you do, your Dashboard will have posts by these 'design heads' only. Get over yourself and stop blaming Tumblr for your overall self pity. Enough said.

Re: The startup squeeze

ken:agreed

if youre losing customers why would somebody fund you. glad to see tech startups realize a blog story about your dumb web 2.0 app isnt the only economy you need to think about.

some of the biggest companies started in the last downturn like netflix, hi5 and skype. deliver value and generate revenue....its not that hard guys
