Olympia,
This was a great post and I'm along for the ride 100%. I must say, I am proud to have gotten to know you over the past few months and also extremely proud of the accomplishments that you have achieved between raising a beautiful young lady, playing in 2 different leagues and had the determination to stick with it and not give up on it. You may not know but you have inspired me in ways you will probably never know. I am proud and honored to have been graced with your presence in my life. Thanks and I will always love you for it.

in Busta’s Love-Hate Relationship with Technology on Black Web 2.0
I completely agree, since I have started blogging and joining social networks, I've met more people that share the same that I share about technology and sports. More so than who I've met in person. Think about it, I walked down Peachtree Street in Atlanta, what are the chances I would meet someone who loved Technology and Sports like I do? It's very rare, but by joining social networks, I've found plenty. Great topic.

in Are You Down With Casual Sex? on BlogXilla For Sexual Intellectuals
Towards the end of the video the girl said " it's not like I need a man", well if you are one of those chicks who don't "need" a man, then just be by yourself because a dude who hears that from you will just want sex from you anyway because he feels that's all he can do for you because you don't really "need" him anyway!!!

in It’s Safe To Say Anquan Boldin Won’t Be In Arizona Next Season on Sportaphile
I know Anquan was mad about that game, I'm sure hereally wants out. Kurt Warner barely looked his way. Anquan would be the #1 receiver on at least 90% of the teams in the NFL and I don't blame him one bit for being mad. Come on to Dallas 'Quan, I would rather have you then #81 anyway.

in Are Peyton Manning & Marvin Harrison Worth 34 Million Dollars In 2009? on Sportaphile
Very simple answer, YES!!! The Indianapolis Colts need Peyton more than they need Harrison, but since the question is both Manning and Harrison, I would have to say yes.

in Just Like I Predicted, The Chicago Bears Ruined Devin Hester on Sportaphile
I agree with you but Devin got a huge contract at the beginning of this year and when you pay a player that kind of money, the owners and coaches expect him to do more than just return kicks and punts, especially since they kick away from him now. No one gets paid 30 million dollars just to return kicks. Devin hasn't returned any touchdowns because they don't kick to him like they used to.
Owner's want more bang for their buck when it comes to their players nowadays. Brian Mitchell is the best return man in NFL history and he probably didn't make 30 million in his career, let alone for 4 seasons. Mitchell also caught passes and ran the ball every now and then for the Redskins. Devin's career isn't ruined, they are just trying to get their $30 million worth out of him. If you want him back as just a return man, he will have to take a big pay cut, because he will be a WR/Return man as long as he's with the Bears. I'm sure Devin signed his new contract with the understanding that he will have to play a position other than return man. So if you want to say his career is ruined, its because HE signed that BIG contract, that's not the Bears fault.
Name one return man in NFL history that has made $30 million in their career and I will leave it alone.

I think he'd be worth the money even if he did just return kicks, because its no secret that he's been their best offensive weapon over the last 2 seasons. I also beg to differ about Brian Mitchell... his greatest strength was that he was able to hang around the game so long ... which is pretty damned hard to do. If I had to pick between he and Devin... Id take devin.
I wasn't implying that Devin's entire career is now ruined, but his 2008 season is certainly looking that way. I guess you and I have different philosphies on an elite return man.. because if he scores at least 4-5 returns on a yearly basis I think he'd be worth every penny of his contract.
I dont have any problems with Chicago bringing him on the field for special packages occasionally, but to have him out there as a fixture of the passing game is a mistake IMO
