I hope LibraryThing comes up with a Facebook App soon - it's probably one of the best Book web apps out there. (Also, did you call iRead - iBook by mistake, or that's another Facebook app?)

I was reading Asimov's Foundation Edge - in which there is a planet called Gaia - a superorganism which comprises humans, trees, plants et al. So anytime someone asks a Gaian organism, 'Who is Gaia?' - they go 'I am Gaia'. The also use pronouns in the following manner - 'I/We/Gaia would like to go to the toilet'. The 'Robert Scoble is media' bit sounds too much like those Gaia fellas. I can already imagine reading Scoble next post which goes 'I/me/media approve of the iPhone...'. Or Sebastien's, or mine for that matter.

I agree, they didnt even reply to my email about the Price Challenge regarding a book - so it's just an elaborate scheme to grab eyeballs. That being said - they have an annual book club membership for 500 bucks which is promising - you get 25% off on ALL books and you get a book worth 500 or less free.

It is just the way the Online Print Wizard system in Vista is structured - they tie-up with vendors operating in a specific country.

Anyone can use the services of itasveer from within Vista - they just need to temporarily set their location to India from the Control Panel..and of course they can always go to www.itasveer.com directly :)

I have been an Airtel Broadband customer for the past 2 years - and haven't had a any hitches. The connection is always on - except for some occasional fluctuation in bandwidth. The customer service has been exemplary. Even when I have called at 2 in the night - they have assured me that it will be fixed the next day before 1:30PM - and they have done it each time. Plus the service is free. (They started charging in between but now they have switched back to free.)
