I am subscribed to the first season podcast link in iTunes. Will that still work? You didn't mention anything about iTunes, and there was a LOT of talk about Zune, so I'm wondering...

Ahh...
Corky Ra! He was one of our favorite Utah nutjobs. I remember standing in line to see Stephen Hawking at Symphony Hall and Corky Ra came up to me and handed me a business card asking me if I believed in aliens.
He suffered the same fate as his dog and is mummified in pyramid right in the heart of Salt Lake City.
Man, I miss that guy!

It sounds like you've defined marriage as a religious issue. If it is, then ALL citizens should be allowed access to marriage (through their own faiths). You can't define marriage as a religious issue, cry religious freedom and then deny that freedom to certain citizens.
If a church is willing to marry a gay couple (and there are MANY that do), then their marriages should be recognized by the law.
It seems like a VERY easy decision to me.

in My Request For Government Bailout on Thom Allen Weblog
Back when the first Dot Bomb hit, I don't remember the government coming in and helping me with my home loan. Mike and I had to sell our house to survive and we are still working out way out of that tech depression.

in Learning The Value Of A Hot Story on Thom Allen Weblog
I have enjoyed the Twilight series, but of course, I like vampire stories, so it fit well with me. Here's my review of the first book in the series:
http://www.quotationspage.com/weblog/2008-03-20...
The biggest surprise for me was that it was a romance novel about vampires instead of a vampire novel with a love interest. I'm not too big on the romance genre, but they did feed me enough blood to keep me interested.

Once again the Salt Lake Tribune proves that they don't know what they're doing in the world of the Internet. Aren't "real" journalists supposed to state their sources?

in Star Trek: The Experience To Close on Thom Allen Weblog
Mike and I just got back from Las Vegas to learn this sad fact. We were staying at the Las Vegas Hilton and there was NO indication that it might be closing. We only heard about it from the cashier at the sundries shop.
When I can't get a Mind Meld, is there really any reason to go to Las Vegas anymore?

I gave up on Twitter a couple of weeks ago because of the outages. The fact that they are blaming US for their outages just makes me comfortable in that decision.

You didn't mention what MountainCon is. A comic book convention? A sci-fi convention? A gun-owners convention?

Don't forget the Atari 400 and 800. Mike had both. His dad bought them to help them get his grandfather's biography down before he died. Now all that information is here:

We still have them in the basement.

You seem to have a lot of anger and bile. Maybe you need a REAL break.
Escape to Utah. You and your family can crash at our place and you can hide from all of them for a while.
It's better here, believe me.

Make sure the links are actually relevant, however. If you don't your website will just look spammy.
I HATE it when Engadget will include a link that is merely a search of their blog for the word I clicked on.

in Public Schools the Demise of the LDS Church? on Stay N' AliveThanks for the link, Jesse!
I STILL don't understand the Mormons Exposed thing, but I guess mine is not to question why...

or everyone decides where they want to end up hanging out at. I still have
a large network of friends on Twitter, and I can't abandon that. Not only
that, but I need a good Mobile solution, and even with the outages, Twitter
is the best mobile solution so far.
