Sure hate to hear it but understand (and support) your stand. Plus, it'll give you a breather while you adjust to the new (sorta) job. Sounds like you've been slammed alot lately...
'Tis funny - I'm not normally a fan of the 'live' shows, but always enjoyed yours. You'll have to throw out some minicasts to your newly deprived (no, not depraved) fans to tide us over the withdrawal symptoms. :)

Yes I'm afraid it's been my turn in the barrel for a while now. My life is changing, the podcast is changing and I'll do it for as long as I can continue to afford it. I hope to continue to get other advertisers like Ambrosia who are supportive, so I can cover costs and have some profit. Without that it's not sustainable for me. That sadly is the fact of it after doing it for 3 years.

Aw, Victor - no ones minds that yer prediction was off a bit - we still love you!
Here's a question for ya - with the gigantic swirl of 3G and other predictions out there, I've not heard anyone really mention the MacBook Air. Isn't it (way) overdue for some sort of upgrade or price reduction? Can you give us your 'thoughts' (okay - predictions) along those lines? When DS goes off to college in the fall with the MacBook, I predict my future will be Air-y... LOL! :D

I think we won't see a refresh on the MBA until the back to school sales. Not because the MBA is geared towards students, but because by then they should be able to increase the HD drive size to at least 100GB and Fhash RAM should be cheaper.

The t-shirts are awesome too I'm gonna have to get me one. You *do* get a cut of the proceeds, do you not?
And yes, rant on... As a recent switcher who has been TOTALLY assimilated (resistance was futile), my friends and co-workers' eyes are starting to glaze over because I continuously point out the myriad of deficiencies in our workplace Dells, and canNOT stop talking up the wonders of Macdom (praise Jobs)! :D

Thanks Kim, glad you like the show. I have removed the T-shirts for now since the logo apparently was a bit small. I get a very tiny cut on the shirts. That is it. It's not about me making money it's about sharing the show with those who love it. I had to cover my time costs and thats' the only reason. I will put the store back up when I have the logo size issue resolved. I suck at that kind of thing (graphics) , so...

One question - is anyone else having problems subscribing to Tony's CofM on iTunes??? Won't work for me at all - iTunes acts as if the server is down or web addy invalid...

in Refreshed iMacs arrive one day early on Typical Mac User Podcast Forum
I ordered mine today!!! :P I was going to be a 'slider' for awhile with my shiny new MacBook and the old Dell desktop, but the Mac is too cool and the Dell more annoying every day. I had very high expectations for the MacBook and it has exceeded them all, leaving NO doubt that Mac is the way to go. By this time next week I'll be a SWITCHER!
