WOW! Awesome!
After Vela scored the second, I jumped out of my seat and yelled 'DAMN!!!!'
And Wilshere looks better and better with each game...brilliant young kid. Simply Love it.

walcott, ricahrds, jenas, agbonlahor, young, bentley, hart, green, these and other guys will lead england to success. beckham and the rest have had their chances, time for the younger guys to start tearing it up.

Arshavin put up the best individual performance in this tournament during that match. He was BRILLIANT. I could not believe how good he was. Ive seen him a few times for Zenit and in some of Russia's qualifiers, no doubt he was a very good player. But what he did tonight was simply extraordinary. It was magnificent! He was all over the place. Not sure what happened to Holland, guess they never got a spark to spur them on. Its unfortunate, they were a very good side and I enjoyed watching them. Russia have been very good the last couple of matches now. I hope they play just as well in the semifinals, great team to watch too.

OK, I dont know what exactly happened with ronaldo, but thats not important. Germany won. Portugal didnt. They will now have to wait for Mourinho to come to Portugal in the future, then they will have a real chance. As fro Germany, can they go all the way now?

I saw the match. Rewinded that incident over and over. They even played it in slow motion. Simply loses the ball and falls over. Looks around. No one is looking. Acts as if hes writhing in pain. Completely disgraceful for someone of his ability and skill level. COMPLETELY! Andy Gray even agreed with me. I used to love watching Ronaldo play. But THAT, that is a joke and a disgrace to the game of football. Screw him.

listen you peace of s*** he stepped on his foot. You didn't watch it correctly, even Andy Gray appologised for his mistake you douchebag.and he didn't lose the ball he tripped him you have to get your eyes checked up dude
ok, calm down whiner. hes still a bleeding prima donna nancyboy. flailing his arms around after the klose goal when hes the guy who shoulda been markin him. ok, he messed up. but dont look at your teammates like its their fault. dont get me wrong, i liked ronaldo. but this game, i saw how much the fame and success is getting to his head and his ego is out of order.

Germany beat them in the air. Andy Gray made a note of this before the match began. He mentioned the fact that the Portuguese play beautiful football, but when things get tough and gritty, do they have what it takes to grind one out? I thought both sides played well enough, but Germany knicked it in the end.

GD, maybe they showed a different angle where ever it is you saw it. But they showed us only one angle of the incident and it looked like he playacted. If you have a link to the incident from an angle where it shows that German defender stepping on his foot, please allow me to see it. I saw German player pass by, but from my angle it didnt look like Ronaldo's foot was stepped on. Thanks.

JJLS I was watching the quarterfinal of Euro 2008, the one between Portugal and Germany...yea....that one......the one where Ronaldo dived and playacted....theres no way around it. The showed that over and over and there was nothing in it. World Player of the year? More like an Oscar for best breakthrough performance by an ACTOR.

What a fuckin fag. Seriously, that act by ronaldo. what a prissy little bitch. I cant be kind about this. The accusations of diving and the petulance I was borderline on as everyone does it. But that performance with the screaming and holding his ankle, what a fuckin little bitch. happy portugal got knocked out. fuckin joke. end of rant.

I thought the lineup was crap, and I think it comes down to Domenech's strange lineups and strange slections. Its no secret that the guy uses zodiac signs to pick players. I say he either gets his head together or go home.

By the way, FYI, v Nistelrooy was not offsides.
A FIFA rule indicates that if a player (pannucci) goes out of bounds, he is still an active player, and therefore would still be considered in play. The goal was legal. Right call. Check it again, Pannucci lies down out of bounds keeping van nistelrooy onside.

UNbelievable! I dont think anyone expected this scoreline! What Holland did today was ridicuous, against the world champions??? Never saw this coming. Total Football at its best! I am at a loss for words, I am so glad I saw this match live, best match of the tournament so far. Italy had a few chances, but just wasnt their day. Well see what they can do in the next match, but congrats to the Dutch. and Wesley Sneijder, man, what a way to celebrate yor birthday!

If he keeps up his form, hell definitely join the legends. But greatest of all time? It is possible for him to do so, but he will have to play consistently well throughout his career, and he cant get complacent. Im not saying it isnt possible, but he has many many years ahead of him and he will have to deliver regularly as Maradona, Zidane, and Pele did.
Nice win for Portugal, great show. Maintain possession and build the attack and open the game up. Turkey had possession, but didnt do anything with it, a shame for them.
who's 'he'?
I was referring to Ronaldo, sorry.

in Champions League Final - Manchester Utd v Chelsea on Footytube.com
Come on people, show some class and maturity. The Champions League final this year was an incredible match, definitely one for the ages. Ya, there were some that expected more, but if you actually watched the game, any one with common sense would know that it was football @ it's finest, with two clubs who truly earned and rightly deserved to be there. Ya, it had a bit of a slow start, but we also didn't have to wait very long to see world class football. Cristiano's goal was excellent, but credit to Scholes/Brown for their exceptional 1-2 passing. But Cristiano's goal is a perfect metaphor for his play & performance, especially this season ... up & beyond the competition. Yes, many love to hate ... but whether you love or hate him, he's pretty much achieved the HIGHEST honours in the football world, that many great players still dream and fantasize over. He was the key to winning the league not only last year, but definitely this year. And he was suspended in the early goings of this season, which was by far the worse times for ManU. But as soon as he returned, he put those God-given talents to work, and just steam-rolled his opponents. Went on a scoring rampage. For a few games, he was averaging braces (2 goals). But he pretty much scored in every game, but definitely in the important games, such as in the CL. But anyhow, won the league, won the golden boot (With 42 goals...almost double from last year (25 goals), and he was head to head with Drogba for top scorer for most of last season, and ended up finishing 2nd or 3rd last season for goals) for not only the premier league (and many of those 42 goals were nothing but breathetaking ... free-kick against Portsmouth, anyone? Back-Heel against Aston Villa? Flying Header against Roma? And the list goes on...), but the top football experts also say for the entire football world for this season, in terms of club football. And also the leading scorer for the CL (8 goals). Furthermore, was voted by his OWN premier league colleagues as the PLAYER OF THE YEAR ... for TWO years straight. Last person to do that was Thierry Henry, if I'm not mistaken, but the difference is Henry accomplished that, but did not win the coveted CL .... but Cristiano did. And he's only 23.
Yes yes best player no doubt. no arguments there. But Ive seen better matches. One for the ages? Get outta here. It was a decent game, but please dont say it was fantastic or awesome.

Barca were absolute sh*t this year outside messi and henry. overrated! and possession doesnt mean jack if you do nothing with it. Look, lets kick the ball around, so the F what!? there was no attack and barca squandered their possession by doing jack nothing.

First half was excellent. rest of the game was pretty boring (yea a few good moments, but overall nothing incredible). united wins the penalties. eh it was better than last years final, but i thought the game had more potential. but then again it was raining like insane. so cangrats to united, time for euro 2008. only reason youre all going insane now is because you have nobody in euro. you can thank the fa for that.
