in Betting on Twitter on JasonKolb.com
In that you have been consistently wrong about Twitter, it's interesting to see what you think.
Given the money being spent on reclamation clearly (see CNN) there is a market for premium real estate. Though if anyone can fail to monetize, I guess Twitter can.
I can't see any of the old zombies getting their hands on Twitter - too old too slow. Maybe a sponsorship deal, but they may indeed have figured out how to run cheaply.
They may surprise us and spin on a technical innovation (maybe crack location) but I think they will be independent for a while yet.

in Using Advertising to Take Over the World on JasonKolb.com
So Robert, your take here is customer=passive. But this is social media; someone on Twitter will say:
Mums, what deals with diapers* have you found?
What family cars do people like?
Olympus vs Nikon?
Guessing about what the customer may want is not many rungs above spam. Replying to a customer request (even with a bot) is more efficient and maybe worthwhile.
*Nappies for us Brits, of course.

in Gene Sequencing and Quantum Fate on JasonKolb.com
I don't think genes are actually active on the quantum scale - DNA is molecular. Atoms in complex molecules are not quite so quantumly shifty.
But with all quantum theory, YMMV

Quincy market allows you to eat your food right there. A simple idea rarely emulated in the uk.

Emotional Design (blame psd for that, not great but good bits)
Everything is Miscellaneous (v good)
Mavericks at Work (reading)
Guns, Germs and Steel (classic, answers a lot of why questions)
Being Human (HCI report from Microsoft)
But I'm always worried about the amount of real books there are to read, and wasting too much time on work fluff.

Mmm, maybe someone can help accelerate the effort of TortoiseGIT (GIT Cheetah http://repo.or.cz/w/git-cheetah.git/) for us Windows based developers.
Geez, maybe Bill will buy this "open source" thing and these problems will go away.
