I have 2 working Commodore 64's , modded floppy drives where you can change the device ID with a flip of a switch and 3rd part Indus GT drive that shows the track/sectors. Great run, even ran a BBS in the last 80s early 90s on it!

This would be great to have in Utah. With the popularity of Wordpress and the many developers and bloggers in Utah, having Wordcamp Utah is a great idea.

turnout was low, in part for being in layton. still good times! I was asked to MC several events including Sarah Douglas private show. I have several segments to get on the net too.

I had a blast for a small con, but 6pm sunday I was beat. As I was the MC from 1pm until close. I spent alot of time with Sarah Douglas (Ursa from Superman I&II)

I used white board at work and if you use a black expo dry erase marker and draw over the ink several times, then wipe off with a dry erase or white cloth.
do not use windex! do not use rubbing alcohol as it will eat the coating and you dry erase becomes fused to the Masonite.

dry erase cleaner works best, but on a shoe string budget dish soap and hot water 1:20 ratio so a little 'soap' goes a long way.

location does matter, but prior knowledge goes much further. If you camping and on vacation put the tech stuff down and enjoy <g>
when I go camping I go east of HWY 40 near kamas, not too traveled and still not that far from civilization either. I prefer the quiet area where human and beast do not cross nor too many humans with RVs

Don't agree if you want stability stick with APPLE. If you want selection, virus, malmare, spyware etc stick with Windows. If you want something that is cool, fast, runs the start of the art OS get and apple or get yourself a intel based computer and load *nix on it.

I use BSD and *NIX all over the house, I also use Windows shares but have the shared media mapped into simple share names like Movies, Music, Apps, and categories under them so anywhere on the lan you are able to find it , play it use it, watch it , even on the XBOXes.
