in Don’t Stomp The Ants on More Internet Income for You
I enjoyed your writeup, however, I also think I should point out that some businesses ARE email based (we have several) and tons of phone time. Just so long as whatever it is you choose to do, from surfing Stumble to commenting on blogs to blogging for yourself that you spend quality time (not quantity time) doing it :)

in Australia zeroes in on Internet Censorship on Digital Compendium
So not only will Australia be a physical island but a virtual one, too?! Where in the world is freedom going? If parents would just parent their kids instead of thinking laws and rules outside the house will do the trick... Oh this just ticks me off so much my mind is a shambles trying to comment on it... grrrr!

Hi Alana! Very interesting blog! I never knew of this company, but it certainly looks like it keeps you busy! Used to have friends in the lower portion of Michigan (lived in Chicago for a while), but never made it up to the "glove." Still look for info on Disqus, but wanted to stop by first!

in The Last Drop For Entrecard on John Cow dot COM
Granted by this post Entrecard has changed the system (I love how you can maintain all websites from one login!), but I wanted to read down to get the general feel for "do you love it, like it, or hate it." Personally, I enjoy using Entrecard, but I also do not just drop and run. I figure if I'm going to take the time to visit, I will do my best to find something to say somewhere - commenting is key.
Also, in reading this caught my eye: "And keep in mind that your homepage has five full posts on it. There isn’t much of a reason for 75% of the traffic to visit another page when they can read your five latest posts from the landing page, unless they’re searching for something specific or are interested in advertising."
I do believe I will try decrease the number we have on our front page, it may be a tad high LOL!
Oh, and I came via Entrecard :)

in The Last Drop For Entrecard on John Cow dot COM
Personally I like the system and think Entrecard works very well. Like anything and everything "marketing" online, there are many that ruin the experience (sometimes for everyone). I like to open several, give them all several minutes of "just sitting there" time, and then go one by one visiting each to see if there is something I'd like to add my two cents to... And I find maybe too many opps to do this...
For instance - you wonder if the system is blown and not worth the effort. Well just BECAUSE you wrote about Entrecard, I've been here at least 10 minutes or more reading your post and various and sundry comments left by others.
No one can make anyone do anything. If you don't like the system, it's your blog. However, we do like it and are meeting some really interesting bloggers using Entrecard :)

in Feedburner Subscribers Firefox Add On on The Friday Traffic Report
Unfortunately I encountered a problem twice when I clicked on it to install it. During the installation I get the following message:
Firefox could not install the file at
http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloa...
because: Invalid file hash (possible download corruption) -261
Anyone have a clue what I should do next? It just will not let me have it :(

Hi Murad, noticed your visit while you were in blogcatalog and came by to see what you're up to.
Don't forget, too, that while everything you've written is immensely important, there are other sources of "targeted" visitors... finding like-minded individuals in places like... blogcatalog :)

in Why TrafficJam.com really… on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
Hi Andy, excellent post thank you! In fact, I'll be commenting and referencing this information (why reinvent the wheel) most likely today. Always love to send others off to great sites for excellent input.
I'm a big fan of BlogCatalog, too. Very friendly bunch with (so far so good) the right attitude for using such a resource.
Also, and this hasn't much to do with anything, but I had to control/alt/delete my IE twice coming to your page. It just froze up completely. Finally settled for writing the url down and coming in via Firefox - which (yeah!) worked like a charm. Our blog is just the opposite working best in IE, Opera, and even to some degree Safari. Hates Firefox, but we really like the template so...
Sorry to ramble, and again thank you for outstanding information. Off to check into TrafficJam!
