I think there's only room for a service that connects strangers to each other based on location info. Facebook is going to avoid doing this as there goal is represent your real-world relationships. Loopt Mix is a perfect example of this. Loopt tried to be your mobile social network for your real buddies, couldn't get critical mass and is now trying to connect random people with Loopt Mix.

This seems suspect to me. I don't think this is the real Facebook Connect functionality for the iPhone. Seems like a normal use of their api to me.

I'm looking forward to when this really comes out. However, right now I need an easy way to allow visitors of my FB business page to buy items.

I already have a paypal system in place, but I can't seem to get the embeddable code for the "Buy It Now" buttons to work.

Anyone have any apps or ideas? I'd prefer something that doesn't make my visitors sign up for some unknown payment service.
