in Exams are finished on britton blog - An American Student in Galway, Ireland
done in may! well, delayed congratulations but that's great. interesting you boycott bottled water. i've heard it takes 10-100x more water just to make the bottle than there is actually water inside it!
needless to say old milk jugs and one or two retired gatorade bottles make great water containers :-)
well just gettin' back into the blogsphere a bit and wanted to swing by today and say have a good one!

Hey sounds like a great time. I can't see that far ahead but as of now my travels probably won't take me to Ireland. Maybe the Czech Republic, Europe area..
Finals week for me ends in two days. Work hard these last couple weeks bro. Keep bloggin', love reading your stuff.

in Marathon Training: Day 3 on britton blog - An American Student in Galway, Ireland
Hey James,
Thanks for the deep link, woulda never seen your marathon page. I'll read the others later, gotta go do some work at the lab, but I wanted to say great job running.
The interesting things I've learned in life are from running.
The interesting people I've met in life are runners.
The interesting thoughts I have are during my runs.
Seems like running should be required

in Blog improvements made on britton blog - An American Student in Galway, Ireland
Lookin' really good James. Here's some replies to the comments you left me(thanks a bunch!):
·Post a comment with your Unique Visitors per Day and monthly blog revenue(must be monetized), and I'll add your blog to the revenue study.
·Men's Health magazine did an article on Dean (is that his name? the crazy mother f*cker who's trying to run 250 miles straight). the article was more of an advertisement, but i've not read the book you mentioned.
·I'll send you the pre book if you want to read it..let me know

Going for the free-Wii huh? I already have a post about John this month...I can't bring myself to do another! Although I'll probably break down in a week or so because Wii's are schwit.

in Everyone’s a critic on britton blog - An American Student in Galway, Ireland
I'm liking the Top Commentators Widget.
The Category Cloud is a bit odd...not sure if I like it that much.
What are the "Treadless" and "Kayak" adds on here for?
I like how your "Featured Sites" blends well with the rest of your blog...wile I must say that the "Ads by Google" do not blend quite as well.
If you do a google search for "Google Adsense heat map" you'll see the right sidebar is not the best place for a high CTR(i.e. you won't get paid $100 in a lifetime).
Add a picture to your About-the-Author page.
Capitalize the Title of your blog...looks sloppy IMO being all lowercase, but if that's you're style then be consitent (e.g. all lowercase in post titles..)
I'm all about trying to help you and everyone else get the best site possible. Thanks for this great idea.

And always, please continue to offer constructive criticism at Bryan-Baker Dot Com. Thanks James!

in Northern Ireland Assembly elections on britton blog - An American Student in Galway, Ireland
No constructive criticism post...so I'll leave it here.
BEST
Colors. Easy to read, great structure for posting comments, and besides the Ireland Google Ads...clean page.
WORST
·Advertisements cluttering posts.
·Bottom of posts has so many links!
I SUGGEST U
·Clean up the site, maybe a few advertisements, but nothing intruding. Content must come before ads.
·Remove "Yesterdays' Top 5 Links".
·Remove calendar.
·What is twitter? Remove?
in summary...clean up the ads and un-needed sidebar objects.
Keep up the great content :-D

Hey James,
First time I've heard about politics between Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. I've been following Czech politics loosely...and of course American politics are impossible to truly follow ;-)
Hope you're enjoying your post-grad. over seas. I'm a business student here in Corvallis, Oregon at Oregon State University. GO BEAVERS!
Keep posting.
