It priced the ONE at $229 with free shipping! I know the ONE is a great little device and thats the lowest price I've ever seen it at. Pretty cool search engine!

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » Roulette Rims Guarantee No One Will Ever Question Your Impeccable Taste

That would look awesome in a Vegas car show for obvious reasons, but I wouldn't put them on my car if you paid me!... well maybe if you paid me a lot. The cars this year at SEMA look great! My favorite so far I think is the volvo roadster or the 69 camero. They have a bunch of pictures on the SEMA Insider website!!!

Re: Jeff Schmidt on Age Verification and Online Child Safety

Like MikeT said, we need to keep hope alive! I think where progress can be made is with the parents. I think they really don't understand the dangers their kids are subject to while on the internet. If parents were more educated about it, they might play more attention to what his/her child does online. A friend of mine sent me a great site, NetSmartz411.org, which is an educational tool for anyone looking to keep their kids safer online. If a parent has a question, they can email people at this site who can respond with personalized answers. I believe it was created by the NCMEC and the Qwest Foundation. Hopefully if more parents know the dangers of the internet, they will pay more attention to what their kids are doing online.

Re: Video: BBC Interview (Teenagers, Facebook)

Great interview Stephanie! I think parents need to talk with their kids about the dangers of being online. I agree that sneaking onto these social networking sites is not the best way to monitor children. There are plenty of sites out there that can help to give parents better ideas on keeping their kids safer. I know NetSmartz411.org is a great educational site for people looking for ways to keep their kids safer while online. Parents can email any questions they have to this site, and real people respond with personalized answers. The most important part is that parents stay actively involved in the kid’s lives. If they have a strong relationship, is much easier to discuss important issues such as internet safety.

Re: Live Blogging: The Office - Money

What did you guys think of the episode this week? I thought it was... "ok" I guess. I definitely think last week was the best by far. Nothing really compared to the sales website IMing Dwight, or Michael's European cut shirt. I did like the Nissan commercial last night though and thought it was pretty clever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5PgHAHAoRw . I saw it a few times during the show.

Re: 2007/03/22/imsafer/

Haha. That screen shot is hilarious. But it is good to see programs trying to get parents involved in watching their kids. My friend told me about netsmartz411.org, which trys to teach parents ways to keep their kids safer online. Hopefully they wont ever see their kids saying any of that stuff above... lol!

Re: TomTom announces the TomTom ONE XL-S

I've been a big fan of the ONE XL because it has all the features I actually use, and none of the ones I don't. I think the text-to-speech is a great addition to the XL. The Map Share and Help Me features are obvious bonuses.
