Hey Nick,

I'm not really sure if the reason for needing to jailbreak your iPhone 3G isn't more because there is no way in the current iTunes app store environment for developers to run a beta program like you would with a desktop app, Along with trial downloads this is something Apple should add to the store. Maybe a little beta and try before-you-buy section.

I had jailbroken my first generation iPhone a couple of times but haven't really had the inclination to do it with my 3G.
