Catcher's Blog is being hosted on my personal domain, which was not free. I purchased it from 1and1.com.

I did not, I got the Wordpress theme from this site and edited it a bit. Wordpress I installed on my own.

Re: Miscellaneous News

Thanks, again! :)

Re: Miscellaneous News

Not really, I have DSL. I'm not sure if he comes around here or not. I live about an hour and half north of Cairo, but I've never seen him. He may come to Albany, but I've never seen there myself. It would be cool to meet him though. That's a cool idea.

Oh? That's cool, which ones does he have? I'm sure not many are from south Georgia though, lol.

Re: Braves Mailbag: 12/17 & Other Stuff

That's cool. You could probably find others too when searching for them. I'm not sure if any of the current Braves have a myspace, but I'm sure there are posers galore out there. If you got a host somewhere, you'd have a lot more options in uploading themes to Wordpress. I know a few free places that are pretty good. I could probably host you on my site if you wanted, but I don't know if you'd be interested or not. Plus, you'd have my domain in your url. It was just an idea.

It's cool. I changed around some of it, too, mainly the styling to my liking.

Re: Q&A with Chuck James & Random Talk

You're welcome.

Yeah, I was glad to switch.

Re: Q&A with Chuck James & Random Talk

Oh, mind sharing the link? Wordpress lets you cutomize more and I've also found some sites that have Blogger themes. I forgot what the addresses are though, but I'm sure I could find them again. And it's also rumored he's wanting to drop Boras, but I'm not sure though. Makes you wonder though.

Re: Back from FanFest.

Yes, he's taking the necessary steps to staying a Brave. I personally think he would rather stay with the Braves than go into free agency with the way he's talked about the organization and team while he's been here. Yeah, Boras still has a rep, but I wouldn't look for him to keep it too much longer if Teixeira walks, too.

Oh, and FanFest was very crowded. I meant to answer this in my previous comment, but posted without doing so. I have written a review post that I am going to post soon, along with pictures as soon as I get them all. The official site said between both days there was roughly 25,000 people that attended.

Re: Braves Mailbag: 1/21/08

Yes, I do, but not many as of yet. Some think we could have put up a better offer than the Mets did, even though we wouldn't be able to keep both Santana and Teixeira long term. But our farm system is a lot better than the Mets'. I thought it was pretty stupid myself. That or the Twins didn't want to have to face Santana if they had let him go to the Red Sox or Yankees.

I think the Mets are trying to make up for their collapse of last year and maybe trying to outdo our acquistion of Teixeira, but I agree that this shall be an exciting race and even more so if we keep Teixeira.

Re: Thoughts On The Santana Deal

Yes, good point, but Mets fans seem to think it's the best thing in the world and no one can beat them now. Maybe now that his back isn't bothering him, that will benefit somehow.

I'm sure Kotsay's not better than Andruw in the field because very few, if any, are, but maybe Kotsay can make up for that with his bat. It'll be interesting to see what goes down, though.

Re: Dude…

Somehow I don't think he will just yet, if he hasn't done so after getting married, at least not perosnality-wise/off the field. Apparently, he's still really messy and is supposedly the worst dressed on the team, according to DOB from AJC. That and Frenchy making fun of him, I'm sure he's still got some kid left in him.

But I hope you, and him also, are right in that he will have a good year at the plate. KJ did get more triples and stolen bases than Escobar last season (even though he played a few months longer than Escobar), but I believe the ESPN guys were right the other day that the only thing Escobar didn't have compared to the rest of the SS in the NL East is great speed. Again though, like Frenchy and McCann, you could go either way with those two at leadoff and the #2 spot.

Re: Promo: The Tomahawk

You're welcome.
