in What Becomes the Long Way Home on Duct Tape Marketing
I agree with the statement that entrepreneurs often suffer from a fear of SUCCESS rather than a fear of failure. I have experienced this in my own business development. I think most people are afraid that if their business grows, they may not be able to keep up! I've been using John Assaraf's kit Having It All to firm up my goals, and successfully achieve them. Here's the website: www.johnassaraf.com/hia. Let me know what you think!

There are so many unseen photos in the archive that will blow people away. I used to work in the archive department of Time. You should try printing these images and placing them on a vision board. Ever heard of one? Check one out at http://www.TheVisionBoardKit.com

I use mediation every single day to calm my nerves and create focus around my goals and desired outcomes in life.
Another method I use on top of meditation is the use of a vision boards. Have you ever heard of them? They are images pasted on a board that represent your hopes, dreams, and goals. Studying these boards every days plants seeds of these goals within your subconscious mind.
Your subconscious mind is where all of your habits are formed. Combine these visualizations with mediation and self-affirmations, and the seed of your goal in your subconscious mind will begin to grow, sprouting a newly developed habit that is oriented towards your desired outcome, or goal.
John Assaraf does a better job of explaining this and showing you how to do it in his new book "The Complete Vision Board Kit." I downloaded the free chapter here at www.TheVisionBoardKit.com.

in See How Easily You Can Achieve Your Goals on Instigator Blog
I think organization is absolutely key here. The question becomes... how do you organize your goals in an effort to prioritize what is most important to you?
For this, I'd suggest using a vision board. A vision board is a powerful tool that anyone can use to shape an ideal future through the power of intention and visualization. Learning how to vividly imagine your desired results -- attracting your perfect soul mate, radiant health, abundant career opportunities, or building personal and community relationships to give back -- is the first step on the path to making them happen.
A vision board - which is a collage of images that represent your goals, dreams, and intentions - allows you to break through unconscious, self-limiting beliefs that have been building in your subconscious mind for years, and really focus only on your important goals. In essence is helps separate your goals (your focus) from the background noise.
Go to www.TheVisionBoardKit.com to download a free 8-point power tips guide to creating and using a vision board to achieve your goals.

in Circuit City Files for Chapter 11 Protection :: InvestorPlace Blogs on InvestorPlace Blogs
Circuit city’s filing for chapter 1 tells of many things but 2 things in particular – 1) Businesses across many sectors (not just banking) large are getting wacked and 2) after we reach the bottom of this recession, there will be many opportunities for people and companies to stake their claim on the new landscape.
Listen to the tone of airwaves, minus the recent election of President-elect Obama, everything has been so negative! Honestly, think about how negatively our society portrays almost every situation. Acquiring a negative perspective is easy, but stand up and make a statement about yourself – tell yourself you will not victim to this negative jargon! If you find yourself in a hole, ask yourself this question: what will more likely improve your chances of being successful – continuing with a negative outlook or transforming your thought patterns into a positive outlook?
I work with many high level c-level executives that have experienced tremendous success in their life. The one binding characteristic between all of them is that they do not let external, uncontrollable factors influence their inner dialogue and visions for future success. In fact, many of these people use a vision board – a collage of images that symbolize personal goals success - to help them keep focused on their positivity and desired outcomes. I might suggest using one yourself if you are currently in a rut. You should look at the helpful information on how to make one over at www.TheVisionBoardKit.com.

What an amazing time in American history. Dreams do come true! Did you all see how Oprah Winfrey revealed this week that she uses a vision board to visualize her goals and harness the power of intention? Oprah created a vision board, months ago, that emphasized Obama as president and the gown she intended to wear during his imagined inauguration.
FYI, a vision board is collage of image that symbolizes a desired outcome. By looking at these images daily and imagining these desired outcomes – like accomplishing a goal – your brain becomes more honed in to making this reality. Many top athletes, entrepreneurs, presidents, and philanthropists have used vision boards to help them accomplish their goals.
I know that on www.TheVisionBoardKit.com you can download a free chapter that includes the eight basic ingredients of a successful vision board.

The only way Google can be stopped is if another search engine offers better results. I think this is possible but not in the near future. Probably the only way Google will be stopped is if another technology/feature replaces search. Whether this involves the semantic web, where the web remembers who you are, what you like, your trends, etc., we have yet to see. You also have to understand Google has been building its brand for 10 years. Is it going to take another 10 years to see another dominant internet entity rise, whose main offering is indexing and organizing the worlds information? More tech and entrepreneur opinions... http://gothamtechminute.blogspot.com/2008/07/mu...

Agreed. On another perspective, I haven't seen Google throwing up results from some social media sites like Flickr and Delicious, though I might be wrong. Would yahoo Search gallery appeal to some in this context? If I am searching for tools and apps today, I cannot be rest assured with Google, but I have to go to specific niche directories or bookmarking sites too.

Its pretty simple... Carriers are shooting themselves in the foot because they offer a million different models, much of which are crap. Rim and Apple have placed a tremendous amount of resources into a couple different phone which results in utilitarian value, style, and sleek design . If you offer 20 new phones every month (like Verizon, Sprint, and others), its hard to build solid brand equity and device loyalty, because people keep changing phones every couple of months.
