Why are you not able to format it on the computer? I mean that is strange, try to format it using a card reader.

Since i am not aware of branded limitations, maybe it may have something to do with that?

Also try to uninstall everything from the install manager ;if anything is left now :)

I would not say that we should come to that opinion so early. This is a new firmware, problems should be expected.

Do you mean that after formatting the card on the computer, after putting it in the phone you got an error message? As that is normal and expected. After formatting the card on the pc, you have to format it on the phone again LOL. I noe it is of no use, but in such cases, something funny works most of the time.

But if you are able to connect to the internet, then it surely seems to be a problem with the phone :)

Play around with the settings and call barring, as it is you cant use the phone for now, so trying out things would be cool.

No news about vista support? I was hoping they would add the sync to Windows Calender and Windows Contacts functonality for Vista.

Also, hope they can penetrate the Mobility Center to give better features.

I would suggest you properly arrange the layout of this site, i mean add borders between the sections and color differentiation. Currently, it looks like all the sections are clumsily pasted here and there.

To me, your site looks too clumsyly laidout and happazard.
I would rather have the text and the post in the middle and the two columns each at one side of the page.

Please work on the UI.

I had tried the trial to see what extra functionality it offers over the default calendar.

I loved the feature where it reads the contacts info for the birthday's and adds calendar entries for the birthdays with the contact name and phone number. Adding the phone number to the event name helps when you sync the calender to various other services, and then when you access that service, you dont have access to the contacts, you can still call up that person to wish them.

Well, i would say that you are wasting an shortcut on Profiles. You can change the profiles on the fly with the power button over the phone. And i guess no one personalizes the profiles more than once.

Themes should be what they are right now, although a little bit more should be added.
Like whether the Active Standby should be active or not, Clock style analogue or digital and similar display options.

For the scenario where the icons on the standy should change and other similar changes, i feel Nokia should expand the "Modes" feature of the E66 and E71.. Instead of just the two modes, they should let the user add as many modes as he wants. Infact, this might be also turned into a replacement for the default and age old "Profiles" feature. Instead of just changing the ringing styles and alerts for different scenarios, you could change the complete set up of the phone.

While in a meeting, the Meeting mode can give you quick access to QuickOffice, Sound Recorder, Wireless Presenter and switch to a more sober and formal theme, remove the Share Online plugin from standby with more space for the Calendar plugin.

Instead of the Outdoor profile for going on hikes or hanging out with friends, you can have a Outdoor mode, which will change the ringing style to loudest and the most alerts available, give quick access to Camera, Gallery, Music and change the theme to something fun and light hearted.

What i would like next is a second layer on top of this shell. So than whenever highlighter is moved over contacts, a popup of the 5 previously called contacts should show, and a press of the joystick should open the contacts.

Moving the highlight to the Web Browser icons should quickly open the popup displaying your bookmarks, and clicking on any of the bookmarks should open that bookmark in the webbrowser.

The same popup should display the calendar entries when there are more entries than the few displayed on the shell.

Even I wish they put in some more resources into the service, even small improvements like a bigger maps display on their website while viewing the workouts would be great. Not to mention that it horrendously crops the images while uploading them.

Just 2 days back I was ranting on Twitter about how impossible it can become to use your Nokia phone as an Internet / Wifi device in Offline mode.

I did the same when I had to hard reset my N85. 10K+ NGPs & saved game progress! There's no way I am playing all those games again just to reach the stage I was at before the hard reset. There hours & hours of gameplay put in there Nokia.

More than an year after launch & they still want to say they are working on a backup system? Lets not be fools here..

The new layout feels much much better than the last one :)
The post metadata section would look much better if it was boxed and spread over a smaller area :)
