affordablity and feasibilty are the keys to this idea.

1st:
UPSs are not cheap (for average Joe(l) types). If the battery is cheap and has some kool some configuration options, geeks will eat it up.

2nd:
How does it interface with the mobo, where does it fit into the case, will the average Joe(l) be able to install this battery w/o too much trouble? Can it fit into existing case form factors? Will it go into a drive bay? Will you have to crack the case when the battery goes bad?

I think it's a good idea... will it make you rich? Depends on too many factors to tell - If it's hocked as the poorman's UPS, you'll probably be able to sell a buttload. Have you pitched it to any VCs yet?? ;)

Dood... with all the techno-gadgets you got you couldn't program in a reminder of important birthdays somewhere?? sheesh.

My phone starts ringin' every now and then, I look at it and it sayz "So-n-so's Birthday today" Real EZ.
Although, come to think of it, I did get a reminder sometime in April that it was Jaylie's birthday and I know that ain't right (heheheheheheh). I guess it's not fool-proof eh?

I love headsets... Once you start using them you don't want to stop. Unfortunately I lost mine :_( So I haven't been using my phone as much.

I think it's time for an upgrade anyway. My little Nokia 8210 has seen better days. Been good to me though, I feel bad to part ways. Time change and so must cell phones right?

Guess I gotta go see what AT&T; has to offer for new phones.

I love it when that happens...

a few weeks back - I was setting up a krazy Linux router with some shapecfg on each of the 4 NICs, so I could do some nasty WAN emualtion (for all non-network types that's geekspeek for a krazee network setup) - I hit a wall, none of my routes were working outside the local nets... took me 2 dayz, bangin' my head against the wall, b4 I figured out that the problem wasn't in the router at all, but it was in one of my PIX firewallz - DANG

When it dawned on me --after a short break-- it was like a great revelation - weight lifted from my shoulders, all was right with the world again!!!

Believe me, I'm all for earning my keep and not being a burden - on society, the church or anyone else. I'm not sure that a production company can exist successfully in a cut-throat biz like musik w/o being willing to make hard ethical choices. Swimmin' with sharks is dangerous unless you're a shark...
