Excellent post and thoughts on the way we have to interact and manage tasks in a highly connected world. But One Caveat, there are times when we have to give things and relationships our concentrated engagement and focus. There's a balance that has to be struck depending on the task or situation.

So true! It doesn't take but a moment to slip down the rabbit hole. One thing that I have found that helps me accomplish more is to get to the office earlier. I found if I start my day well before 9am I get a lot more done. The later in the day it gets the more distractions pop up...phone calls....emails...kids etc... A good couple hours at the beginning of the day helps me get a running start.

Thanks . . . Never bad to be reminded we all exist in a bubble and be brought back to earth. I am always reminded of this each and every time I have a client that needs me to help them set up their email.

Part of being passionate about something is having the ability to share your passion.

in Why Location Based Social Networks Need To Offer Something Different on SheGeeks
I thought this social network seemed pretty interesting, it's like Flickr but all the photos are organized according to the location the pictures are taken.

Seems like a pretty cool way to document a location, again the user isn't necessarily the focus the location is.

Great article and a good overview, Thanks it will take me days to really parse through this. I have been thinking a lot lately about Twitter and such and how it could be a benefit to clients and my own business.

It seems everyone is getting into the act. Here is a new Wordpress template that turns your Wordpress blog into a microblog.
