Since the Lieberman/Obama dust up, some of the posters at Politico.com are now calling Obama a bully. So he's gone from being Obambi to Suge Knight.

Drudge Report is saying that Clinton will win S. Dakota by 25 pts. I know what you're thinking: It's Drugdge Report. But in the past, when he's gotten leaks from Clinton's camp (based on their internal polling), they've been on the money. The ones that comes to mind for me are the the IN and NC primaries. Her internal polls predicted she would lose to Obama in both states (she won IN, but by a very small margin, and we know that was thanks in large part to Rush Windbag).


Poblano--who has been damn good this primary season--has Obama beating her by 5 pts in SD.



So I wonder if the Clinton people put this concession speech rumer out there to suppress the Obama vote in SD and MT. If people think she's going to concede, they won't show up at the polls.

I feel your contempt for the Clintons, CPL, but it doesn't help us right now. Obama's not going to get those nutjobs at the the RBC this weekend, but he can get most of her supporters. To do this he's gotta play nice--even pick a Clinton supporter like Gen. Clark as his veep (I draw the line at choosing Clinton herself, though). So the praise for both Clintons must go on.

Oh--I hope someone does a response/parody video to/of Harriet. If I had a video camera, I'd be all over it. It would be Harriet in front of a bedsheet-drapped background screaming, "LEAVE...HILLARY...ALONE! You bastards!"

Mike Gravel and Ron Paul are still running, too. Hillary can run as long as she likes--as long as she can find kids who'll sell their bikes and video games. The question becomes: will anybody care that she's still running?

I just called the Secret Service, and they've gotten a lot of calls about this, so I don't think this "joke" by Ms. Trotta is going to be ignored by them.

I'm concerned about this Clinton veep crap. I know Obama doesn't want her, but are her supporters so powerful they can force him to put her on the ticket? It seems to me that the person who wins the nom has EARNED the right to pick his/her own veep. I hope Obama stands firm.

I wrote the Cherokee nation when I heard about this last year. I think we should wait to see what the courts decide. But if the courts uphold the Cherokee decision, I think the freemen should be allowed to sue the Cherokee nation for reparations. Perhaps this is why Obama isn't getting involved because he wants to see how litigation plays out.

I watched the al Jazeera video, and I see nothing wrong with what these young men are doing.



If it's legal for people to phonebank from other nations--and I'm hoping the Obama campaign has already checked to make sure it is--what these men are doing is noble.



They say they want peace in the Middle East, and they think Obama can bring it about. These young men were born into apartheid. They can never leave Gaza without special permission. I can't imagine being forced to live in an overcrowded land only twice the size of D.C., knowing this is where I must live and die.



I hope one day Israelis and Palestinians will be able to live side by side and freely travel between borders. The National Review, and you by proxy, are doing nothing but fearmongering.



A great, eye-opening movie that I would recommend for all JJP posters is Paradise Now (2005). It depicts life in the West Bank, which is supposed to be slightly better than Gaza, so you can imagine how bad it is for Gazans.

Thanks, Pamela. You beat me to the punch. According to the CBS Exit Polls out of WV, 85% of HRC's voters said race was the single most important factor. And this is why WV is ass-backwards--because 65+% of the democratic voters are too stupid to see beyond race.

I was outside the Obama HQ in Lexington, KY yesterday, and a woman drove by in her giant SUV, honked her horn at us, and did a thumbs-down. The hate for Obama in this region is frightening. I have no doubt this office will be vandalized by May 20th.


Now don't get me wrong, there are a lot of "working, hard working class white voters" in KY who support Obama. But for every one I come across, I encounter three who REALLY hate him.



And the sad thing these people don't realize is that they're being made into caricatures by the media: "look at the backwards hillbillies. Aren't you glad, normal America, you don't live in Appalachia?" (The only difference between "normal" America and Appalachia is that they're too stupid in Appalachia to hide they're racism). And these people in PA, OH, WV, KY, and TN are very obliging. Whenever the press comes around, they're more than happy to put on their racial bigotry performances.



What keeps me volunteering in KY is that even though these people are fighting it tooth and nail, they will benefit greatly from Obama being POTUS. And perhaps not this generation, but the next generation will see that blacks can be trusted in positions of power.

s, a revote would cost about $12 million for each state. And the states' voting offices would need enough time to make arrangements for statewide-revotes. A revote will drag this thing into Aug. (assuming that the states can get it done by then) and will be a waste of money. The people in Myanmar could certainly use that money if Mr. Weinstein is concerned about disenfranchisement.


FL and MI messed up, and they must be punished or else we're going to have the same problem four years from now.

You guys--we need to do some sort of virtual demonstration to let the media and the DNC know we're not cool with this overtly racist language. I was more insulted with what Paul Begala said than what Clinton said. The guy said Obama can't win with just eggheads and African Americans as his base. That was so offensive. He's really diminishing blacks. And if you're black and an egghead, you're worthless to him. And MSM let these people go on the air and stoke the fire of racism.
