nope, it's called the Smart Fortwo. Mercedes Benz bought/owns smart so they sell them. They are making an electric version, but it won't be out until at least 2010

I also grew up with this movie. I also loved Short Circuit 2. I really hope they don't screw with Johnny 5's looks or try to update him for the current generation, he doesn't need an iPod interface.

I think you hit the nail on the head, but maybe the wrong company. I'm thinking it's Disney, they've been holding the bar way up there long before pixar came about, and now pixar is pretty much an extension of Disney.

i'm surprised also that Forgetting Sarah Marshall came in 2nd. I'm guessing next week the spots will switch due to word of mouth. also, superbad and knocked up had summer releases which probably helped a lot.

i saw the trailer for this during Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the funny part was that the next trailer was for the new Narnia with the disney logo opening, lol. anyway, since i'm in canada i think i'll be seeing this when it releases. i saw a good chunk of Short Bus on tv one nite and it was pretty good so i hope this is done well too.

i totally agree. i can't stand that every movie might turn into a sequel for no reason, and every old TV show might be a movie. And now with comic books and graphic novels, it's getting annoying. i guess it's easier to beat an idea to death than to think of something new, i think the worst was the dual Capote movies (Capote + Infamous) released one year after the other. plus all the Japanese horror remakes.

i saw the film and i loved it. i thought it did a great job of recreating some of the stuff from the original series which i was a huge fan of. i agree it wasn't over the top funny but i dont think it should be. it was just the right amount of funny.

i agree, i think The Village was his last good film. personally i think Shyamalan went and saw Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth and said 'i bet i can make a better global warming film. i know, everyone will be dieing because the planet is killing us off to save itself, brilliant' i didn't even have high hopes when i went to see it, only medium hopes and i was let down hard.

i enjoyed the first half of the film, but when it took a left turn, I just wanted to leave the theater. I can deal with plot twists and surprises but I just didn't want the second part of the film to happen. If they just doubled the length of the first half it would have been pretty good.

i also just saw this film and i thought it was pretty funny but it was missing some of the heart that would have made it great. it didn't feel for the characters, i just wanted them to do some more funny stuff.

yea, he looks exactly like the game, except for the face and beard.
when i heard that Prince of Persia was going to be a movie, i thought 'cool, an adult Aladdin' so i just hope the studio doesn't screw it up. also, it's a plus that Uwe Boll didn't get his hands on it.

if they were giving away the graphic novel instead of the art book, i would definitely pick this up. but the steelbook i have of this is still very pretty. i'll hafta wait n see what the bestbuy in canada will be selling this for to help me decide.
