Hot corners trigger Expose commands when you touch a corner of your screen with your cursor. Personally, I love them.

I have my hot corners set thusly:

1) Top-Left: View all Windows
2) Top-Right: View the Desktop
3) Bottom-Right: View Dashboard
4) Bottom-Left + Control: View all Windows of the Current Application

Re: Conflict Resolver: OS X Leopard (10.5)

iGTD probably needs a Leopard patch.

Re: How-to install linux apps in leopard

Blasphemy!

Re: The Keynote…

For clarity, the $20 price tag for the iPod Touch upgrade is for existing owners only. New iPod Touches will ship with it for free. The popular opinion has it pegged as an accounting thing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarbanes-Oxley_Act

Re: 10 Hours later and I think I have a pretty negative opinion about macworld.

Here are my thoughts for contrast:

1) Time Capsule: Great

2) iPhone Updates: Great, copy/paste still needed

3) Touch Updates: Keep in mind, I own a touch. I think $20 is a fair asking price for an optional update. If you want to keep your touch as it was when you bought it, no problem. However, if you want to pay a nominal fee for five applications that weren't available to you before, you now have the option.

4) Movie Rentals: Great. I probably won't use it, but I'm sure a lot of people will.

5) Macbook Air: The perfect laptop for people who travel. One of the main reasons I bought my touch is for its portable web browser. I don't want to haul around a laptop everywhere I go, but the Air certainly is enticing. It really is a great writing and web surfing machine.

6) AppleTV 2.0 is a huge upgrade. Being about to buy and manage all of your content on a set-top box is a big thing.

Re: Turn off that annoying clucking when you use the volume buttons

You have ruined that sound for me. Most public transportation here is pretty weak.

I'd also like to mention that in New Jersey, the vast majority of school buses that I have seen are "Short buses." I found that to be super weird.

Re: East Meets West 89

"The Big Bang Theory" is perhaps the worst sitcom I have ever had the misfortune to experience. It is nothing but 22 minutes of beating you over the head with the stereotypes that nerds are socially awkward, and attractive women are practically brain dead. It is nothing but a loosely formed lump of non sequitur after non sequitur.

"Nerds sure are awkward, am I right?"
"Boy, this woman doesn't understand any of the super-cool math jargon we use."
"We're accomplished adults, but we're beat up by other adults because we're nerds. That sucks."

It makes me want to vomit a little.

Re: East Meets West 106

As a Terminator nerd, I have to profess my affection for The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Each episode has progressed the story along really well. I won't spoil anything, but episode five introduces a really interesting story arc.

If you like the Terminator mythology, I highly suggest checking out the first five episodes.

Re: East Meets West 114 - MONO

Great minds think alike. Last year, I commissioned a drawing of a Zombie Dinosaur from Len Peralta's Monster by Mail website. The Zombie Dinosaur is framed, and hung in my dining room along with the Ninja Monster I bought from Len.

Here is what it looks like: http://flickr.com/photos/jawboneradio/1473727655/

Re: East Meets West 116

You know who else had a podcast in which two people discuss social issues?
