You will also need to do this on the next line where I call ffmpeg again to get the file information.

First off, its great to hear from you and I'm glad you stopped by.

As far as ways to improve it, there's not much there I don't like. The only thing I could as for is a way to view bigger thumbnails, maybe a thumbnail view in the main section of the screen a a la iPhoto. Other than that though, a year later and I still think its one of the better flash products out there on the web today.

Include those into your x264 compile string but make sure you change them to point to the directory that NASM and its libraries are installed.

That should do the trick. Let me know if you get farther than I did.

Actually, thats where the story ended for me: with x264. I got it to compile, but ffmpeg would never accept that it was there to use.

Maybe you will have better luck than I. To get x264 to compile using nasm, its been a while, but I thought I used the same --extra-cflag switch as above but used the path to nasm. Let me know if that works for you.

Sorry. Something must have changed at Dreamhost. The file is there, but it shows a 404. You take the .pl extension off the file and what do you know? ...the 404 goes away. Odd don't you think?

Anyway the link is updated, you will just have to add the .pl extension yourself. I imagine the pilgrims had to do the same thing back in their day.

Nope, no luck yet Chris...but just between you and me, I haven't been very focused on it for a while. I even tried to get faad2 to install on my own machine with no blocks what so ever, and I still had trouble with it.

Not sure what the problem is, but I know that it is annoying.

I had to edit your comment ever so slightly Ben. Your fully grammatically correct spelling of Fuhrer was causing havoc on lots of RSS readers. It even caused the comment feed to fail validation .

If I were you, I would let the puppy go to the big pet store in the sky. Then grind the puppy up into sausage. Then cook the puppy sausage and go over and offer it as a peace offering to the pet shop guy. Once he eats the sausage, then you can laugh at him and tell him that he just ate sausage made out of a diseased puppy from his own store! Tell him the disease was "Puppy AIDS" if you really want to get him. Then, during the commotion, have a friend shove as many puppies as possible down their pants. They'll never expect someone to try to steal from them that way again. Its genius.

Bonus: you can turn the puppy pelt into a nice pair of gloves or boots.

I'll give you the padding in the butt, although it seems like you could sew in padding in any pants not just very tight ones that accentuate the male package. I'll even see your moisture, though once again they could make the shirt not so damn stupid looking. But I'm not all with you on the safety...lots of other people bike in "regular" clothes and don't get run over.

Basically what it comes down to is still pretending. I can understand why Lance Armstrong needs to have FedEx and other companies all over him to make money, but I don't think those two dorks pictured above are seeing many checks from the names all over their shirt. They could also put all those biking clothes advancements in different looking shirts and shorts, but they don't because people want to pretend. They just want to look like their hero, which is fine...but they look silly.
