in Necessity or Not: A List of What I Bought in Week 1-2 on The Marketer Who Went Off Consumption
Try oatmeal, not the quick cooking type, for breakfast. It's great!

Combine it with some flaxseed, apples, cinnamon powder and yoghurt for a super start to you day!

They say success is not so much where you've reached but what you've overcome to get there.

One of your better posts, G.

"you can truly appreciate having enough, only when you have known how it feels to not have enough"

How I agree. And how true it is. You should highlight and bold this.

in Why Should Brands Embrace Social Media? on Gauravonomics Blog
I doubt it will flip the model but there will be greater benefits from interactions with social media.

Particularly fond of the notion of free:

in The State Of The Indian Entertainment Industry on Comments
I did see a kiosk of sorts at the Chennai airport where you could browse, listen and buy music of your choice and they accepted most memory card formats as well as sticks and a burn to CD option...

deepakg That sounds good. I'll keep my eyes open whenever I am at the Chennai Airport next.

I really wish Amazon's MP3 store comes to India soon. There is no investment they need to make in infrastructure/warehousing so the entry barrier should be really low. Of course there may still be complications around foreign investment regulations, but nothing like Starbucks or Walmart have had to face.

Hmmm. Green tea for me. And a Lavazza espresso in the evening.

in Social networks as “friend” Nazi (design flaws in Facebook, Jaiku, Twitter) on Scobleizer
You know, I've been writing to Facebook support regarding the constant signing in, and they suggested I "...try clearing your mobile’s cache and cookies,
then try logging into m.facebook.com."

It did help. Once. It's most frustrating.

"I am constantly amazed at how unamazed we are at the efficacy, safety, and low cost of airline travel – and especially at the engineering marvel that it represents."

This article followed yours in my feed reader and I *had* to share. I've been in an emergency landing once, in Doha. It's scary, more so when the pilot dumped excess fuel out over the sea.

Glad it worked out well!

Dammit. Even before I got here...

I was wondering how many people who have blogs have dated bloggers...

Is it an incestuous circle of love?

Dead wood rules!

But seriously, it's not so much fun reading on screen. If only I could get a Sony Librie.

Youtube has such sucky quality. If only you'd mentioned Joost and Bittorrent...

BTW, your comment form is ketta good.

in Google Reader, the next “Digg?” on Scobleizer
Surely someone can write a script where we all can submit our Google shared feeds list/rss feed and then use that data to come up with a functional Digg/Reddit prototype?

Until Google does the same of course...

Yup. Seems borked. Worked for a while in the morning but it's dead now. Rather, there's a message saying they'll be back shortly.

@ Mihai

Thanky!

P.S. I've been accessing it via my mobile as well, http://reader.google.com/view/m, and the river of news style rocks. Especially if you have nothing to do, a few hours to kill and want some brain candy.
