That appt does sound like it was horrendous! I won't even go see the eye dr b/c I just know they're gonna poke me in the eye with all kinds of things. I can't imagine having to go in for tummy troubles!

Yet, I'm the girl who was so happy to be having c-section deliveries rather than a vaginal birth. Go figure!

There's nothing more that bothers me than people who state their beliefs and then ask for input...only to totally rip a person apart if they dare to disagree with them. Where's the fairness in that? Seems to me she opened it up for debate when she asked people for their opinions/beliefs, right?

Anyway, this is a great post....I love your honesty and I appreciate and admire that about you. You are true to yourself and to your beliefs and that, IMO, is more respectful than anything else.

Oh no, I hope they can figure out what's going on with you....no fun to feel like puking 24/7, although losing weight is always a positive, right?

I just made a resolution (early!!) to make a weekly menu out every Sunday so I don't panic at the last minute every single evening trying to come up with something! One of my kids' favorite meal is grilled honey mustard chicken with corn on the cob so that's definitely gonna be a weekly meal!

Tina, I'm so glad you mentioned this! My husband and I were just talking about this today and he was saying the fence around the tree was insane. I just kept saying, "well you're not the one who's gonna be home alone with all 4 kids (4 yrs old and younger) for at least 10 hours everyday until Christmas". Needless to say, he'll be dragging the baby gate we used to use out of the garage and around our tree tomorrow when we put it up! I'll have to mention to him that you have FIVE kids and this is what you are doing!!! You're a pro, as far as I'm concerned!

I have to say I absolutely love the My First Puzzle (the trucks)! It's such a great idea to have a carrying case for it since my kids are always losing puzzle pieces and then of course what fun is a puzzle if it's missing a piece or two!!

I was just talking to a friend about this! Her daughter is 10 and is having her first official slumber party for her b-day and my friend told her she could invite 5 friends. But you know how that goes....Sue told Jennifer who told Ashley who told Stephanie who told the entire class and now almost every girl is coming! My friend is flipping out!! So obviously I have no tips except to wish you the very best of luck! It'll actually probably be lots of fun (but a whole lot of work!)

I love the idea of this but please let me in on your secret on how to get day 1 done with 5 kids underfoot??? I have 4 kids (under the age of 4) and there's no way I'd be able to accomplish all that in just one day!! I'd have to break that up into little tasks to be done throughout the whole week...heehee!!

I'm sitting here laughing because the other day I was paying the bills the old fashioned way, writing out checks and stuffing them in envelopes and then turning the kitchen drawers upside down trying to find stamps. My husband saw me and said "why don't you just pay the bills online?"....huh? You can do that?! So funny that you happened to post about it today!! I had no idea....and now I have to laugh at myself for making my life so much more difficult than it had to be!!

What a great idea!! I never had any kind of glory box or memory box...I was so deprived...LOL! But I like your idea and I'd love to do something like that for my kids! As it is I've started memory boxes for them with things from their babyhood, like hair from 1st haircut, hospital bands, outfits they wore when they came home from the NICU.
