Great post - Twitter is one of those things that I think we are just at the tip of the iceberg with... It is a good time to be learning how to use it effectively and appropriately

in Profiles in Manliness: Viktor Frankl | The Art of Manliness on Art of Manliness
I like to think that I live with the mindset that Frankl suggests, but it has never been put to the test like it was for him and the others there. It is encouraging to know that even under those terrible conditions having a sense of purpose can help sustain...

in Is all this Christian sex talk a good idea? on Think Christian
I wasn't raised as a Christian and started seeking God in my teens and I am glad to see that it is being talked about more openly. I always felt like it was almost looked at as something to be ashamed of, when really it is something that when in the right context is glorifying to God...

in Guest Post: Automated Tithing: A New Way to Give on Bible Money Matters
You know I tried automating my tithing and I had to switch back to checks. My wife and I just need something tangible to give. We always like to pray over it as we give it and give it with expectancy that God is going to do what He promised.
And if we had to stop automating it I feel pretty confident that we will not be using the tithing ATM any time soon

in 7 positive ways to use your Economic Stimulus Rebate on Bible Money Matters
@BMM
I wrote about what we should use the stimulus check for and I found that most people said they were going to use it to pay down debt. What do you think about that since the government gave it to us for the purpose of spending to stimulate the economy?
I read an article or two that said paying down debt would not be much of a benefit to the economy - just curious what your thoughts were on this...

in 7 tips for a frugal wedding on Bible Money Matters
I think you are right on about the photographer - there is so much free software out there for novices that it really it pretty simple to get good pics - we had a couple friends who knew how to use a camera take some pics for us at our wedding and we did the editing ourselves. We ended up a bunch of great pics and made our own album and total invested was probably $100 and 10 hours of our time. A lot better than the $1500+ some photographers charge.

Money Matters
I agree completely. A friend of ours had a wedding last summer, and one
friend with a nice Digital SLR took photos, and another (me) did video.
They saved a ton of money and only had to pay for printing the photos.
