I am not sure if the Manchester United website is giving free broadcasts anymore. I haven't been able to listen since the Christmas break. I keep getting a recording telling me that I need to be an MUTV subscriber. Which I am not. I'm just a regular subscriber and to be a MUTV subscriber you need to pay. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Also for 'Live simulation' you can add Yahoo!'s Eurosport website. They have some pretty good commentary. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com

Yeah MM is pretty good, but I'm really concerned at the lack of updates/communication between the MM team and those of us that are using the service. Since Google bought them, there has only been one message posted by Jeffrey Veen about performance upgrades. Nothing else. :(

Have you heard anything else Chris?

Oh man. Sorry to hear about you having the flu Chris. I had the flu also and wasn't feeling so well yesterday. While I didn't have a fever, I did have a pretty bad headache. Anywho, I'm feeling a little better and it's good to hear that you are better also and back to work.

I have been using Dreamhost. I love the fact that I can host unlimited domains and sub-domains and loads of space (even though I don't need it all...yet). It's also a pretty good price for all the features you get. I would recommend them for exactly the above reasons I like it.

With that said, I have heard that they have had their share of downtime over the past few months. When I say that though, I personally haven't had any downtime on the server I'm on (at least not that I know of) but others have on their other servers. But DH usually gets things back up and running quickly and usually explains what happened why their servers went down.

Also their tech support has been very good in my opinion and usually respond very quickly.

Media Temple should also be good and you could also take a look into TextDrive for hosting.

Yeah the new Icon Buffet definitely is cool. You run out of tokens necessary to get new icon sets way too quickly though. Sigh...I've missed out on so many icons people have sent me because I don't have any tokens and have to wait till next month before I can ask to get more. :(

Well I was running the Fireworks Beta but I actually just reinstalled WinXP on my computer the other day so I doubt that would be a problem.

That's one of things I really dislike about having to reinstall. It takes a long time to get all those updates and all the restarting sucks.

It seems this is quite the rage now. Joyent is doing it with "Slingshot", Adobe has "Apollo", Firefox also has it planned if I'm not mistaken, now Google has it. All we need now is for Microsoft and Yahoo to join in.

I do like the idea and the possibilities this will bring.

Hmm...perhaps it might work using Wine in Linux. In any case I just remembered that both Safari and Konqueror (another Linux browser) uses the same rendering engine, so I could just use that.

Sigh...Yeah I couldn't agree with you more Chris. I would honestly love for them to get back to updating it and adding new features. I can't believe that they haven't even given us another update or anything since the merger. Zip...nada...nothing. Not even a hey, how are you.

I'd really like to hear if they plan to update it, phase it out or merge it with GA or something, anything!

I like the fact that they are using PHP 5 and OOP. I did try the 0.1 release but didn't get very far with it. I'll probably give the 0.2 release a go, just to see what has changed.

Couldn't agree with you more Chris. The Adobe updater is rather annoying and I too don't like the fact that it keeps telling me I have to close my browser (or other programs) to install the updates. I also agree with your suggested improvements of the updater.
