Couldn't agree with you more Chris. The Adobe updater is rather annoying and I too don't like the fact that it keeps telling me I have to close my browser (or other programs) to install the updates. I also agree with your suggested improvements of the updater.

I am not sure if the Manchester United website is giving free broadcasts anymore. I haven't been able to listen since the Christmas break. I keep getting a recording telling me that I need to be an MUTV subscriber. Which I am not. I'm just a regular subscriber and to be a MUTV subscriber you need to pay. Correct me if I'm wrong?

I used to use Aptana back in it's early stages and it is a pretty good IDE. I even tried it again recently but right now it's just not for me.

I like the fact that they are using PHP 5 and OOP. I did try the 0.1 release but didn't get very far with it. I'll probably give the 0.2 release a go, just to see what has changed.

They fixed 3 security issues that were found in the original beta. So this release just dealt with those.

Hmm...perhaps it might work using Wine in Linux. In any case I just remembered that both Safari and Konqueror (another Linux browser) uses the same rendering engine, so I could just use that.

It seems this is quite the rage now. Joyent is doing it with "Slingshot", Adobe has "Apollo", Firefox also has it planned if I'm not mistaken, now Google has it. All we need now is for Microsoft and Yahoo to join in.

I do like the idea and the possibilities this will bring.

I guess only time will tell. I'm sure they will find rather innovative ways for it to be used in the consumer space. Perhaps it can be used alongside those respective technologies. Who knows...?

Looks pretty awesome. I've seen quite a few videos on YouTube though about things like this and I often wonder who was the first to develop it. Hehe it reminds me of Minority Report all over again. But, needless to say It's darn cool!
