Your story is like many I've heard. While all of these contacts are nice they don't mean anything to your bottom line. Why would you pay to be able to directly contact someone who you don't really know? Services such as http://www.referralkey.com/ require that you invite real-world associates to your network however the result is a thriving network with qualified business leads being exchanged daily.

I'm a small business professional and I don't need to pay to message 500 strangers. I need qualified and timely referrals.

Re: Lawyers are LinkedIn to each other more and more

Paul,

Let's be realistic, this is a social networking site for"big people". (Although it maybe faster to just type "NYC" for example)

It is interesting because I was using Email Tracer this morning which is much more indicative of what this blog title purports It can be very useful because the Tracer will tell you the exact address of every email you receive regardless of the sender's approval. Furthermore, if the sender relays the email through several IP Addresses, it will show you the exact relay on a map.

best,
Chris

Re: Gmail Now Tells You Where Your Email Comes From

The title of this article is misleading as the technology doesn't allow me to see where my mail coming from so much as it allows someone to add a location sensitive signature
if they choose to. Apple = convincing untechnologically savvy people that they're are savvy by offering basic solutions at jacked up prices.

3 Things You Need for Music:

1. PirateBay.org (Download full discographies for free)

2. Pandora.com (Create a custom station, run a cable from your microphone jack to your
to your headphone jack, Record the radio with 'Audacity' audacity.sourceforge.net/

3. Napster.com or Rhapsody.com (You can't beat all the music you want for $15. There are plenty of simple embed codes out there that would allow you to add comments... like the one I'm typing in to leave this comment. I also don't understand how posting it to your profile works. If I post a response to a chart on someone's site and say "Wow, I had know idea you sold so much in 1984" How is anyone on Facebook going to find that comment relevent if they're not looking at that pic. I guess I need to try it out.

Facebook connect has a whole seems like a good tool but comment boxes like the one I'm typing in are just as easy and they don't shift the brand value from Mashable to Facebook.

Chris
http://www.referralkey.com/

Re: Facebook Connect Adds a Cut-and-Paste Comments Widget

I guess I don't get it?
