in NHPrimary.com: Romney addresses Mormon religion on Nashua TelegraphMarie Osmond dances in public and gets divorced. No one is going to say she's a bad Mormon or a bad American. Joe Smith's text is no doubt strange in places, but the texts I really want my President to read carefully are intelligence estimates and the Constitution.
BTW, how well is Rudy William Louis Giuliani's Catholicism working for him, these days? Oy vey!

in NHPrimary.com: Clinton says she'd put US on right track on Nashua TelegraphI've been attacking HRC and defending BO lately, but...
AMBER! The only track that George W. Bush has put this country on is one of devastating tax cuts for the wealthy, increased government spending, shameful healthcare for veterans, and a weakened military.
Let's not begin to discuss the real reasons why Bush is the worst President in history: a penchant for grotesque spinning, if not outright lying, his impeachable misuse of intelligence to get us into a bad war, his denial of global warming, his butchery of the national language, his inner circle of yes-men, pushing aside decent people like Paul O'Neill and Colin Powell, his unleashing of Cheney on America (so Cheney could exorcise his own personal ghosts from prior administrations), his alienation of our former allies... his administration's inability to hear the warnings about an al-Qaeda threat in its first 100 days while neocons like Wolfowitz and Pearl were busy planning to invade Iraq (that's a big one, don't forget!) ... and his utter inability to understand that things happen because people look at the situation as it is, study how things actually work in this world, reason about consequences of various actions, and make an informed choice; as opposed to imagining things to be a certain way, believing that God or Dad will make things right, ignoring obvious negative consequences of "the one right choice", and finally asking Dick Cheney to decide. It's a pattern that is pathetic regardless of what your politics might be.
I think blindly loyal Republicans should stay home this year. Let's hear from the intelligent, decent, meritocratic, Constitution-defending, economy-shepharding, well-read, hard-working, successful and honorable Republicans this year. Let's find AMBER another job somewhere marketing shoes or corn flakes.

in Can Walker, Texas Ranger make all my decisions for me? Please? on The Pop DinerI'd certainly rather have the Texas Ranger endorse me than Fabio or Gennifer Flowers. And I always liked that TV show. But your man endorsed George W. You going to stand by that one? I think we can agree that the Terminator has been a good Governator. Have you had a look at Kirk Douglas and why he got a Presidential Medal of Freedom? He used to be able to convince Charlton Heston to avoid John Wayne when the Dude was turning his fellow actors over to McCarthy and his McCarthyism. Nothing wrong with actors thinking they are heroes, but some of them walk the walk, and others just like to pretend they are heroes when they are really just persecuting the jews.

in Nashua Telegraph Blogs on Caught Off the WallDamn, why won't anyone take Rolen off our STL hands. I am so jealous you guys get to have a great 3rd baseman like Mike Lowell. No wonder you keep winning. If only STL management would realize that what matters is the size of the OPS, not the color of the ... um ... uh .... voting card. Yes, we seem to have the only management that still invites GW to throw out the ball, and still hires 0-20 pitchers because they look like choir boys (what's up with that?).
Ever notice that Obama is like Pujols (funny name, but a future hall of famer), and Hillary is like McGwire (it's all about her breaking the record!). Oh well. Y'all know we STL fans were hoping for BOSTON in 06, right?
