in the four(ty) hour workweek on brip blap
I have a forty hour work week ( my job) However, I spend about 4 hours a week doing other work related things I love such as my business and other projects.

For as Travel and adventure, been there done that.

I wish I can drop the job and focus on my other activities. Problem is that my job pays much more than my business.

RDPD has been criticized so much but this book has also impacted me, it teaches you to think outside the box and be apart of your own plan and not someone else's

I agree with all except "Do what you love" sometimes you have to do things you don't love

yowchuan Moneymonk, it's true that a beggar must not be choosy.

However, if you're to make a million dollar doing things you don't love, I would really think twice again about making that million dollars :-P

I guess what the author would have meant is that it would be much easier to get ahead in the financial game if you were to do things that you love.

in rich mom, poor mom on brip blap
I have to agree with Mary Witzl , my daughter also PREFERRED to be around her own peers. I work, but I also have plenty of days off and I would always spend those days with however I noticed that I am not her equal and she preferred to be around other kids doing kid stuff.

Some children just want to be around their peers and I don't blame them. That was her little paradise

I wrote a post close to this a while back.

I just think cash flow is always better than net worth. It is cash flow that will keep you going.

Raising a child can cost up to $250,000 -" oh pleeze, My mom&dad had 7 children, so I guess she spent over 1 million dollars, lol

These studies are seriously over the top

Steve @ bripblap @moneymonk: Well, it's UP to - the study pointed out that location, lifestyle, income level, etc. all play heavily into that estimate. At the same time, I bet your mom spent a fair amount with 7 kids - maybe more than you'd think at first guess.

College or not, I will try to support them. However, the days of go to school, get a good job, and work for 30 yrs are over.

The Entrepreneur route id more effective, however school does not hurt.

It more important to teach my kids about money, credt and investing more than go to college
