in Lost recap, episode 4×10: “Something Nice Back Home” on Pop Critics
Yeah, I agree about the Jack porposal. It was pretty weak. I think he proposed out of fear of being wrong in the case of Hurley telling him he shouldn't raise Aaron. Anytime someone tells Jack he shouldn't do something, or he can't he makes it a competition to prove them wrong. So that is why he instantly came home and proposed. He is growing sort of humorless, as is the show in general. It is always so freakin serious as of late.

Any way I agree with you Mike, now that we have seen this season unfold, I do think that Kate is speaking about Aaron at the end of Season 3, although I initially thought it was another guy possibly Sawyer, but not anymore. That is obviously why kate can't go back to the island. She has a son now.

Did you see the previews for next week. Some guy is alive on the island even though he died 10 years ago or something. Maybe the dead theory is true. The people who no longer feel pain or sickness and have healed following the crash (Locke, Rose) are all dead, and the sign that Jacks's appendix broke shows that he is still alive. What do you think?

Michael Johns definitely got robbed. He is most certainly a final 3 candidate. OK, he had one not great week, but he has a great voice and an honest to god great chance of selling albums post Idol. I really could give two shits for the country crap that Carly pumps out, or the Gospel crap that Syesha sings. Yes, thery have good voices, but who cares if what they are singing is garbage, no one wants to buy that shit. If Idol picks another country singer I will never watch the show again. The south's vote should count as 1/10th the final vote. Or American Idol should start having electoral vote system. I'm not f#@#ing kidding either. Don't even get me started on Kristy Lee Cook. She should have been axed 3 to 4 weeks ago. Jason Castro is chill and I could listen to his stuff, because its chill, but he doesn't have a great voice and plays it safe every week. He changed his pitch once last week for the first time ever, and all the judges kissed his ass because he has the emotional stamina of a 5 yr old. David Archuletta has a Great voice, but he does have a lisp, and I really don't care for the types of songs he sings. He should sign a contract with Disney, and do their movies soundtracks, but that is as far as he'll go. Which leaves us withe My final 3 of David Cook, Brook White, and the late Michael Johns (people who truley have a chance of being an actual Idol) Yes Brooke needs to step out of her shell a little, but she has true star qualities and presence. David Cook could leave the set today and put out a song and it would land in the top 10. And Michael Johns had the confidence and style, as well as voice to probably make it the farthest career-wise than any of them. I don't think America could be more ignorant.

I know it sounds bad, but I'm actually glad that 2 not very important characters died this week. The cast is getting too expanded and we don't get to see our favorites or the core cast members together very much anymore. I am not happy that Jin died , if he even did die, but I think Lost needs to continue to do away with some less than important cast members, for the sake of the coveted ones.

P.S. I regret to admit that I was totally wrong about Aaron not being one of the Oceanic 6. However, the Oceanic 6 plus one theory still applies since Sun had a successful birth. So I'm not entirely wrong.

Also about Aaron being Kate's son. Now that you mention it, it doesn't make much sense. Plus if her claim is that she was some unnoticably 6 months pregnant on the plane, her rescue story of Jack and three others seems impossible. Definitely need some clarity here. Maybe we give the writers too much credit sometimes, and they just made a mistake.

I don't think Aaron is either. Otherwise, why would they have tricked us into thinking Jin was. I hope Aaron is not the 6th. Also, I wish they would just stop from this point forward introducing characters to the story. I don't want this to turn into another 24, where they just keep creating seasons without answers until people stop watching because the season 6 cast only has 3 originals in it and 38 new cast members. So far we've met atleast 10 new cast members, and we still don't know their story. Also, bY in troducing all of these new cast memebers we hardly get to see Hurley, Sawyer, Jack, or Locke. I would like to see more of the main characters and less of these newbies.

in The first trailer for ‘The Incredible Hulk’ hits the interweb on Pop Critics
I think everyone is thinking negatively about this Hulk, because the first one was so poorly constructed. It sort of tainted the whole idea of making more, similiar to Afflec's Daredevil, although I do like several parts of Daredevil, except when everyone develops the ability to fly. That was more than dumb. Anyway, I know I will watch it because I enjoy comic movies. There is a group of people, and I'm guessing we r all included, who will either go to the theater or rent almost every comic movie made. So, it can't fail too much.

I'm probably over doing my posts, but now that I think about it, I bet this Annie girl is still alive, maybe even off the island, is a relative of someone, maybe even Widmore(sister?) She may be the basis for all of Ben's lunacy and could verywell explain the beginning of the whole Dharma project.

One thing that does seem clear to me, is that Widmore probably had everything to do with sending Desmond to that island away from his daughter, Penny. I'm done.

I think Annie was name of Ben's girlfriend when he was a wee lad. She gave him some wooden dolls for his birthday, which it later showed him looking at as an adult, so he still has some infatuation. Then kid Ben leaked the gas and killed everyone, but it never showed what happened to her.

Does anyone else feel like this whole season aside from being awesome, needs a little breather. Maybe a show where it shows everyone partying on the beach celebrating drinking Sweet Dharma wine, waiting for their rescue. Maybe even some random sex. We probably have a couple of episodes to go for that.

in Lost recap, episode 4×06: ‘The Other Woman’ on Pop Critics
I know what your saying, but the lost writers have openly commented that the Oceanic 6 is more like 6 + 1. Also if you geta chance to watch the eggtown episode. There is a clue at the very end. When Kate walks into Aaron's bedroom, there is a picture to the right of her. On the bottom of the picture there is a guy holding up a playing card. It is a 7 of diamonds or hearts not sure. Anyway, there is a thumb covering up the 7th diamond on the card. I think this indicates that there are 7 and Aaron is the 7th. Remember he is not on the manifest, because Claire gave birth to him on the island.

It was definitely an average episode in comparison to last weeks, but not bad none the less, I mean this is Lost. I really think the writers are thoroughly enjoying themselves. There was a lot of trickery in this episode, like Mike said it started with The Julliete therapy session of being a celebrity, which any true lost fan is either wondering a.) she's on the island, or b.) she somehow sneaked her name on the manifest and is one of the Ocaenic 6 which would be a disappointment.
Also when Fahrety is typing on the computer to render the gas inert, if you can pause the screen, you'll notice it is all babel, and even includes some cuss words. I think that might be there message to the lost fans who give away spoilers to screw off. P.S. There is a guy who does a YouTube Recap of every Lost episode at least for season 4, and he finds some ridiculous hidden clues when he does it. Almost every episode there has been what appears ro be someone mumbling, but when played backwards it is actually a message to the fans from the writers. Frikkin Crazy.

Any way, I have a couple of theories, I know next episode focuses on Jin and Cho, and because of that I have a strange feeling that the writers are trying to trick us into believing that they are the final 2 of the Oceanic 6. I predict Cho doesn't make it, thus leading to more guilt on Jack. I have a funny feeling that Sawyer will find a way to leave, even though he said he wants to stay. I just don't see Sawyer having a very good time on the island without Hugo or Kate. Who knows, maybe its Michael and Walt.

in Lost recap, episode 4×05: ‘The Constant’ on Pop Critics
Awesome episode. The actor that plays Fahrety is great. He was great in Saving private ryan, too. To answer MadFan, The reason the show ended in parel, is because the quote that was in Fahrety's book that Desmond was his constant proves that the past does affect the future. Which fahrety originally believed the past could not change the future. He didn't write that quote until after Desmond mind travelled back in time and met him at Oxford. So when Daniel read the book at the end with the quote that " f anything goes wrong, Desmonfd is my constant." He freaked because his belief that the the past does't affect the future was falsified. This is turning out to be an awesome season. Can't wait to se who the other 2 of the Oceanic 6 are. Apparently we will find them out over the next two episodes.

in Lost recap, episode 4×04: ‘Eggtown’ on Pop Critics
I think this is a good recap of the eggtown episode. However,
I disagree with the perception that prior to finding out the baby is Aaron, that we are to assume that Jack doesn't want to see the baby because it is His. Earlier in the Episode Kate informs Sawyer that she is not pregnant contrary to what is percieved from a prior episode. Sawyer is extactically relieved, and that makes Kate disappointed. I believe the writers purpose was to make us wonder whether Kate may have been lying to Sawyer that her pregnacy was a false alarm, and that Sawyer would most likely not find out about it esp. since Kate believes she is going to be rescued, while Sawyer wishes to stay on the island. Thus later on in Eggtown. When Jack and Kate are in the parking garage we are supposd to think that Jack doesn't want to see the baby because it's Sawyer's w/ Kate. It makes no sense that Jack would not want to see his own son, but perfect sense why he wouldn't want to see her son if she had it with Sawyer. Not a very important detail, but when you are writing a summary for serious veiwers it should be accurate.
