While it looks great, it wasn't real world enough in its usability. Oodle, backpage and of course craigslist seem much more intuitive by comparison.

Re: Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Post goes daily: Newspaper jobs available

The New York Herald. is accepting submissions for editorials and guest blogs.

http://nyherald.com/guest-blog

Re: Waiting for the MacBook Air Pro

Dan,
If you're waiting for the Macbook Air Pro, you might be waiting for a long time. And 1/2 a lb. more? No way, 3 lbs is even pushing it. The Macbook Air "Pro" would no longer be as light as an Air should be. Its meant as a second computer because Jobsy figures you already have a first computer, at home, at work. Why not buy a terabyte drive and keep all of your precious memories at home where they belong? I think its perfect, although a $1,499 has a better recession-ring to it.

Steven
http://Gizm0.com

Re: New Blackberry Storm Pics: this is THE hotness

Lame that it doesn't have Flash for the camera.

Re: WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin update

I agree with Jax and Billy, Automatic Upgrade for Wordpress MU would be awesome and much appreciated.

Re: Officially Retiring WordPress Automatic Upgrade

I appreciate your plugin very much. Before you quit, might you make a version for Wordpress MU? Its quite annoying to upgrade and they haven't built into the core and won't for a while I imagine. thx again.

Re: Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Post goes daily: Newspaper jobs available

The New York Herald. is accepting submissions for editorials and guest blogs.

http://nyherald.com/guest-blog

Re: 2008/07/01/userplane-converdge/

I realize Converdge is an enterprise-grade product, but how sweet would it be if this was off-the-shelf series of plugins for wordpress. PageRank can easily accomodate this into their new special sauce. Besides, friends sharing a link with friends, already increases pagerank, as long as that shared link is crawlable. Another one-off utility idea that has no monetization strategy.

Re: 2007/06/22/travel-hacking/

Very comprehensive list, thank you.

Re: Your Opportunity to Guest Blog Has Never Been Better

The New York Herald is now offering guest blogging opportunities as well. http://nyherald.com/welcome

Re: Developing Algorithms To Prevent Citizen Journalism From Being Gamed: Lessons From Google and Digg

If newsrooms lean too heavily on technology and user generated content to save money, then it invariably becomes an arms race between them and automated spam, including for PR purposes. News and social networking technology is a commodity now, and bigger organizations need to devote appropriate personnel levels for sites getting astonishing daily traffic.

Steven Eng
newmediaplanner.com

Re: China blocks Technorati

It's next to impossible to censor the web, or is it?
http://asiaherald.com for asia business news.
