in Sports Tracker, Food Consumption, Exercise & My Nokia N82: It's Time To Get In Shape on The Nokia N82 Blog
Nokia phones are the best phone investment that you could make. Year after year they have been providing quality phones for consumers. Unfortunately the new Nokia phones can cost you an arm and a leg, especially an unlocked Nokia N82. I found a great site to find unlocked Nokia cell phones from auctions. I bought 2 Nokia N82 cell phones for me and my wife, and we love them. Check them out at Unlocked Nokia Cell Phone Auctions. Just my 2 cents.

That was taken with the Nokia N95? That looks absolutely amazing! I need to definitely get one of those when my contact comes up.

in Are Applications Facebook's Version of Spam? on AllFacebook
They used to be annoying to me, but after I turned off the "Email me notification" option, I'm happy. I don't feel like this is remotely close to the spam MySpace is dealing with, however it is an issue that could be dealt with more efficiently. I do feel that the applications could go through a more strict screening process. That may help the situation a bit.

in Compete Data Confirms Decrease in Facebook Traffic on AllFacebook
Good point Kristoffer. I do agree with you. The good thing about them getting involved in the professional aspect of the internet buys them a little more longevity. Sure they might losing a bit of traffic, but the traffic that they are gaining is a little less "flaky".

Maybe they are just finally starting to level out. I don't really think one month of their traffic decreasing is hardly enough to get excited about.

I'm sorry but I still can't believe what FB is being valued at, and what the major players sound like they are willing to spend. I just don't see that much return on investment, considering that there really isn't much that makes FB stand out. They could be easily reproduced by a couple people in a basement in a couple months.

I'm sure I am not giving FB enough credit, but 40 billion???

jas You may be able to knock up a clone in a couple of months but getting the traffic, members and traction is another story my friend !!
Sean P. Aune It's not just you, Douglas. I would love to see detailed, real world, analysis of how that valuation is reached.

It's a social network with a loyal user base. And... ?

Very cool application. At first glance anyhow. After looking at it a little bit, I don't see a reason why anyone would want to be able to keep this app around very long.

I wouldn't take these stats too seriously. One months is hardly enough data collection to raise any eyebrows.

I don't think Facebook will be going anywhere soon. Especially because it is a little more professional and dare I say, secure, than it's predecessor, myspace.

Sean P. Aune But isn't there also going to be a time where people just get plain bored with the whole social networking thing? There's only so much time in a day, and checking 5 - 10 social accounts a day does tend to get a bit tedious.

I guess you take the good with the bad. Facebook opening up the platform was bound to attract a few retarded apps...

It is good to see Facebook taking a step in the right direction though. Opening up a platform for the 'average-joe' to take and run with has sparked a great new interest in their site. Not just for the members that use the apps, but also the developers can use this a new way to get exposure.
