According to this Fox News report http://www.myfoxdc.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?... the apparent reason the meat was in the back alley is because that is where the refrigerator is, which begs the question of whether that makes it any better. I for one am still weary of the idea of any of my food being stored in an alley. And yes Kristina, indication is that there will be a back alley burger in attempts to turn the tables on this health violation.

Let's be honest as a restauranteur it is his prerogative to have a restaurant that is only open Tuesdays (no need to discuss the randomness of choosing Tuesday as your particular day of business).

I do have to agree with Kim though that the demands he places on us consumers, who love Tom Colicchio and tend to think he can do no wrong, are a bit ridiculous for us to swallow. Selecting some Tuesday at least six-weeks in advance, keeping it mind that it is only alternating Tuesdays, and on top of that requiring we prepay for the dinner... Tom that is too much. If you do not recognize that this is ridiculous, then you need to seriously examine how profitable restaurants run their business for a comparison (no disrespect because no doubt this will be very profitable for him, just indicating that it is very arbitrary)

Alas, I might be open to that scalping idea because i'm not one to plan in advance and I'm pretty sure that I will still try to eat here. mmm...delicious

Perhaps the dumbest thing i have heard all day (and I spent 4hours in the ER today listening to the crazies). The Pizza Hut name has been embedded in our culture for 60 years. It was the first pizza franchise... It rolls out 3 new pastas and all of a sudden it thinks its the new Olive Garden... Pasta Hut, I call shenanigans.

PS- Do you think at the completion of the Book-It program you would get a pasta of your choice instead of a personal pan pizza. I would totally pretend to home school a child for some Bacon Mac & Cheese!

... and I would like to personally thank you for highlighting "the sweetest career [I'll] ever have" because right now I'm definitely in need of a new career option. Bonus that this one includes something as deliciously delightful as chocolate (none of that crazy mockolate of those other manufacturers).

So I guess one question remains... will you host a chocolate tasting party for my new found career?

I confess, I too have slipped on a banana peel. Just as brown and sad as yours; however, you were much luckier to have had your car to break your fall. I, on the other hand, had nothing but my behind to cushion my fall as I was sent airborne.

Although a nice old man helped me up and thanked me for alerting him to the banana peel because if he had stepped on it he might have broken a hip.

This is terrible news!!! The effect this has is further reaching than just the super bowl. In this economic crisis I have come to depend on 15 cent wing nights. But now with one of my favorite cheap eats in jeopardy, whatever will I do?

I would just like to point out that this exact site has already been blogged about - on this very website - by crispy's own Kim. I am saddened that the material posted here isn't read by contributors of the site. I look forward to my crispy fix and was disappointed to see repeat material (and not new by any means).
