Macadamia's have always tricked me. . . I think I am going to get a big hunk of white chocolate and then I end of with an oddly soft nut. To be honest, I am not really much of a nut person anyway. While Sat can munch and munch and munch on nuts I have a few and then am just done.

And about the casing - Wikipedia to the rescue! "Artificial casings are made of collagen, cellulose, or even plastic. Not all casings are edible."

in Homemade Vegan Truffles on BaconAndTofu
So this morning I got up and was getting breakfast around, opened the fridge to get some milk and noticed some mushrooms on the top shelf in a plastic baggie. My thought - why did Sat take the mushrooms out of the net bag and put them in a baggie??? But wait, the mushrooms are on the bottom shelf. . .

Damn truffles. . .;)

Uhh, it wasn't lo mein dude. . . it was soft chow mein with "chicken" (really good "chicken" by the way). Lo Mein is a much thinker noodle. I wish we had taken pictures. it was a TON of good looking food that was rather tasty. I think I might go there tonight while you are at your meeting. . . yummy Sipz cookies and chow mein. . .

The sprouts were super easy! Clean, cut in half, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Cook for 25-30 minutes in a 400 degree oven. You can also add some minced garlic 5 minutes before they are done for a little extra flavor. We didn't and they were still delightful. I also flipped our about 20 minutes in - wasn't sure if I was supposed to or not and figured "what the hell."

Oh, and yes, they make fakin' bacon!
