Do you think useful information like that should be included on your webpage? If someone doesn't send you something, you can claim the money back. And unless they can prove that they sent it, you will be ok.

So Ebay more hassle, but the rewards can be greater. If you have more time, then you will be ok.

Re: Why we bill by the hour

You are completely wrong about this. Basically you are saying that you can't estimate how long a project will take, so you are not taking responsibility about this. This is a very important part of the process, judging how long a project will take and the amount of resources you need to throw at it, and you are saying that you CAN NOT do this. How any of your customers take you on is testimony to the ignorance or stupidity of your customers.

So you say you can still work with a company who has a budget for your project, but in reality you would use up there money, have half the project done, and therefore nothing to show for the money they have spent. They would either have to write of the money they have spend, or get money to finish the project. Rather than have a guarantee of deliverables. Once again, this is ridiculous.

I can't believe you are proud of the fact, and seem to brag about the fact that you can't estimate a projects time. If you can't estimate how long a project is going to take, how can you estimate how many resources to throw at it, or even if it can be done?

Re: 2,000 Apps Later, BrightHouse Labs Still Sucks

This is hilarious, Birghthouse are a disgrace. The fact that they couldn't write this simple app themselves is great, but I wonder how many other developers they have gotten too.

They should be banned, pure and simple. Apple don't need a good reason to do it, most people know that this sort of stuff just makes Apple brand looks bad.

Thanks for your investigation. So we have the 1st, and the 3rd is gone, who is the 2nd?? Maybe we could have a top 10 of bad guys?

Re: 2008/11/25/google-street-view-pegman/

How the hell is this like clippy? Does pegman come and ask you where you want to go? No, this is nothing like clippy, except for in the video. You are more like clippy than this little icon on a google page. It offered a lot more than Palm did, and Palm really dropped the ball. WinMo hasn't changed at all in the last few years, a big update is coming out soon, but Microsoft still don't get it, which is why you see so many companies providing their own interface on top of WinMo. iPhone is the current big leader because it make everything easy, from making calls to sending messages to using complex apps.

Most people still seem to not understand this simple fact.

And BTW, Windows Mobile still don't have an app store out yet, but will soon. Some people here don't seem to understand the difference between an app store and installing applications yourself.

Re: Nokia N85 vs Nokia N96 Screen Comparisons

Can't believe what shocking resolution these both have, at 320x240...even the iphone has more than this (480x320).
