Once again, you read my mind. I think we as Black women tend to get our ideology of "thick" and "fat" mixed up due to our own insecurities in conjunction with the ideologies that society brings us. As someone who comes lives in a family where diabetes and high blood pressure dwell, I try my best to not be oblivious by saying, "I'm thick." My health can't afford that mental defect.
Its sad when we as a people have a problem with working out or trying to stay fit, and making excuses thinking you are thick...no honey, you're fat, and its not good.
