They sure are different, but they look comfortable. What if you have some... funky toes? Mine curl funny (I'll spare you the picture) and I wonder if the toes of these shoes will bend or if the toe would stay inside.

in Sola Scriptura on Chasing the Wind
If you look to the end of my notes, I mention a few examples of what Sola Scriptura is and is not saying. It is not a denial of all tradition or of the learning that can be gained in other places. It is a matter of who has the authority to speak on behalf of God.

I'll answer more later in my own comment area, but it seems to me that you have not understood the emphasis I tried to convey. That is my fault, and I will answer as many questions as I have time for.

Part 3??? Taken in the order the books were written, I'd say we're right on track.

in Question On Sin on Chasing the Wind
There is also the point of view approach. God has justified us in His eyes, declaring us to be righteous. From that side, we are saints who collect slivers as we go through life. We shouldn't use this teaching to disregard our responsibility, but we do need to remember that it is how God views us that will determine our fate, not how we view ourselves.

We are saints, and even then we are sinners. Only through the gospel of grace can these two descriptions coexist.

I visited the home site via snopes and grabbed a few different videos. This really is a cool idea. I'd recreate it, but that is such a tough act to follow.

I'm glad something I said helped someone out there! You know, it was such a success for me as well that I started to think about e-mail as well. Akismet takes spam largely out of the blogging equation. I love it.

If we can change the words someone says, can we have a pirate Bible as well?

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Imagine the glory of the multi-level buerocracy. Unions of unions picketing other unions! By the way, if you occasionally misspell bureaucracy that can be considered a good thing.

Y'know Michael. I almost asked where you find these things, but I don't want to know. I prefer to see it here. This liberal agenda is quite humerous when you step back and look at their big picture. This sort of thing could be seen as an example for just what they try to do. Impose their hatred upon others who are content to let the market settle such matters.

in Full Vs. Partial RSS Feeds on Chasing the Wind
I just switched to full, and it is bugging me how much room it takes on the sidebar of Bloglines. I do believe I'll be switching back. I can see the reasons for both sides of the argument, really. I'd like it if the RSS readers would show a preset length of a post so the user can determine how much they want at a time, then I would just keep it with a full post.

As it is now, I feel that I'm crowding others out.

No sound at my daytime (work) computer, so I'll have to continue later. So far, all I have is suspense! I want to see the puppet that John Daker is singing through. I mean, c'mon! The guy doesn't even move his lips!
